This album is one of my favorites. Has anyone else listened to it?
This has become my go-to website building playlist. #onstagebyczt #crushwork
“Allow events to change you. You have to be willing to grow. Growth is different from something that happens to you. You produce it. You live it. The prerequisites for growth: the openness to experience events and the willingness to be changed by them.”
BRUCE MAU | An Incomplete Manifesto for Growth
Regardless of who you voted for admit that this is funny!
I love this quote from Walt Disney. I stumbled upon the image on @guykawasaki's G+ and had to make the photo. #begindoing (Taken with Instagram)

OK Go’s Music Video
The band OK Go just came out with a great viral-music-video called “Needing/Getting” featuring the new Chevy Sonic. I think this is the type of product placement that consumers can appreciate and get behind. Great stuff from the people over at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

What I learned today from Edward Tufte
Today I had the privilege of attending one of Edward Tufte’s one-day courses. It was an absolute fire-hose of information surrounding topics like analytical design, statistical data tables, graphics, interface design, presentation techniques, and of course why PowerPoint sucks. My head is still reeling from the great info I picked up. Here are a few quick things that stood out.
Explaining data is more than just putting numbers on a piece of paper. Use whatever medium necessary (do whatever it takes) to explain your data and its supported conclusions.
Less is more. Take away clutter and information that could potentially be distracting from the main point being conveyed. Replacing chart junk with evidence is key.
Data visualization is not a new art, Galileo is real OG when it comes to expressing data.
Sparklines are cool. Use them to display lots of data is very small spaces.
It was a great day and I am sure I have only touched the surface. If you would like more information about Edward Tufte or his one-day course, check out his website at www.edwardtufte.com.
HUGE dunk!

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

5 Companies That Are Rocking Social Media [Infographic]
I really enjoyed this infographic published over on Scott Monty’s blog. It’s neat to see how these companies have adopted social media and are utilizing it in very unique ways. Social media is incredibly versatile and there are so many engagement possibilities yet to be discovered. I liked the question offered at the end of the infographic. I think this is a question that the social media world will discover as time goes on. “What happens when everyone’s offering customer service on social sites? Can we continue to be heard as customers, or will our ‘Twitter wait time’ be equal to what it is on the phone these days?” I would love to know what you all think!

Do The Impossible
This is a collection of 50 great quotes about doing the impossible. I really enjoyed this collection. My favorite is the Alexander the Great quote, "There is nothing impossible to him who will try." Which is your favorite?
