I teach hormonal teenagers, so I truly understand. I love working with children of all ages, but there are certain days when I want to throw in the towel and go back to kindergarten. Even the tantrums of tired children are better than prankster teenagers who sign up for choir only to lip sync. Luckily, school isnât back in session for a few weeks, so Iâm still getting my class room in order. I canât remember the last time Iâve been truly âfucked upâ. I have a fear of having to go back home and take care of my child, but being too inebriated to do so. But, I do know of a lovely wine bar if youâre still in need of company.
I work with all ages too. Mostly teens and young adults, but even theyâre annoying. In fact, they are the most annoying. At least kids you can kind of manipulate by saying sweet things like âtrust me, you can do so much if you just practice.â Youâre right. I teach a different kind of school. Itâs kind of all year round in a way. Have the father take care of the kid for a little bit and just let loose for a minute. A wine bar, huh? Hmm, I wouldnât mind that. Sure. Sounds excellent.
Donât you hate when your students act like little shits? Iâm about to quit. Any one else having a hard week?
Anyone else wanna go for a very needed night out? My treat. I can get you fucked up if you wanted. Trust me.Â

I come back from a mini vacation from this shit hole to find the cityâŚstill in shambles. Cool. Good. Stay classy, Chicago. Iâm going to be hiding in my apartment and forgetting this craziness exists. Oh, wait, no Iâm not. My apartment is fucking destroyed. Fuck this place, Iâm going back to Disneyland.
Welcome. I hope you enjoy the new scenery. If you need somewhere to stay I hear there are some places to the east are giving people places to stay if their homes were destroyed. Iâd personally just take this as an opportunity to go back to Disneyland and just stay there. There was a Pocahontas actress back there I wanted to see again.

She raised her eyebrows, somewhat shocked by his prejudice. Sure, the Fabrayâs and Wildeâs were well known to the under ground vigilante world, but to a normal civilian like she assumed he wasâŚthey were just a slightly suspicious hotel. âI have some association with the Fabrays. Yes,â Scarlet deadpanned, narrowing her eyes in his direction. âWho are you to judge who is and isnât a bad person? Isnât judgement something weâre supposed to save for our almighty creator in our time of death?â she laughed, shooting down a large swig of whiskey and loving the burn. âIf youâre done judging my name, maybe you can finally tell me yours?â her eyes glowed with fire, burning with frustration at his formerly enticing mystery.
âWho cares who I am. But if you must know, Iâm Nathaniel.â He replied, avoiding eye contact suddenly. He shrugged taking another sip of his drink. The bar was cold, effects of an even colder environment outside. âAnyway, Scar, life is all about people judging other people. Thatâs never going to change. So we might as well get used to it.â

[ đż] my muse approaches your muse terrified and covered in dirt. â @natevc
Violet was a girl who banked her entire day around routine. Living in a city as unpredictable as Chicago made that pretty difficult, but she did her best. She had gone so far as memorize the safest, least-likely-to-be-destroyed parts of town for her walk home every day after work. As a creature of habit, she took comfort in that uniformity. It was one of the few stable things that she could bank on in life, after all.Â
So, the last thing she expected to as she made her way toward her apartment was her older brother, looking like nothing short of a wreck. âN-Nathan?â She titled her head, having to make sure she wasnât seeing things and that this was indeed Nathan. Violet had to look around her to check for anything out of the ordinary, but this just seemed like it. âAre you okay?â
âVi.â Nathan said softly. He had been through quite the trouble this evening. Nate had lost his ring for a few hours and found himself struggling to transform into Verge when he really needed. He had been caught and found by some old enemies. Essential blindsiding him. The bruised and dirty man gripped the side of his body as he struggled to walk up to her. âI-I canât find-â Before he could finish he was stumbling on his weak, and possibly sprained, foot. âMy ring.â He finished, managing himself back to his feet. âCan I come in? Iâm too far from...home.â Which was true. He was quite a distance from the Jones Academy. Â
The two werenât the closest of siblings due to their age gap, but Nate like to think, being they were still family, theyâd still be there for each other. He was probably the worst for hardly ever reaching out. If there was one thing he wished he could have done better, it was getting to know his sister a little more.
scarletgonewildeâ:
Somehow Scarlet doubted this guy was smart enough to have planned all of this, but she didnât care. She got to drink for free, and she just saved herself from having to watch a grown, sexy man choke down a Blue Hawaii and ruin her reputation just by standing by her. Fireball was still pretty weak, but it was her exes drink, so it was the first thing that popped into her head.Â
He didnât give her a name, either, but that was okay. Scarlet liked a sense of mystery. With others. With herself, she liked to brag about her name. Being a Wilde wasnât as impressive as being a Fabray, but it was still impressive.
âIt is, isnât it? This bar is a lot like me. Nice. Little. And we have the same last name,â she smirked, raising an eyebrow, wondering if his pea brain would catch onto the fact that she was a fucking Wilde.
Nathan laughed to himself. Of course she was throwing her surname out there. âYouâre a Fabray extension?â He let out a deep breath of disappointment. âThatâs fucking unfortunate.â As the bartender slipped him his drink, Nate took a big sip, a sour look on his face following the bitter taste. âArenât they like bad people? No offense. Maybe. I donât exactly know you.â He lied. Of course he knew her. And of course he knew she was just as bad as the rest of her family. Upon their breakup Verge eventually discovered a lot more about his ex. From her family history to her current affairs. They didnât exactly have morales align. As much as Verge enjoyed her company, he couldnât see himself with a criminal.
mcmasefaceâ:
Blue eyes followed the man walking around him, and Mason could feel his whole body tensing. He wasnât scared by any means. But Mason didnât like to hurt people. At least not physically. That wasnât his area of expertise and he usually would simply leave that for the people who excelled in it. Mason left his harm to a manipulative state of mind. He liked to lure people in and get them that way. âThe guy was huge, he could easily have handled all of them.â he pointed out with a roll of his eyes. âBecause I work for them.â he put bluntly not even sure why he was bothering explaining what the fuck he did. âI got hired by a Wilde and ergo got put into this lovely little family.â he smirked a bit, shoving his hands in his pocket. âWhy does it matter? This shit has nothing to do with you so beat it.â
âWhatever makes you feel better.â Verge scoffed. ââWorking for the Fabrayâs.â Damn.â He shook his head.
âI canât believe you still work for them.â Verge should have phrased whatever he was saying a little more carefully. Even the slightest indication of him knowing who he was could be troublesome. He glared at Mason. Did he just tell him to beat it? The man wasnât too fond of orders from others. âDid you just tell me to beat it? How about you beat it? And quit hurting other people.â By this point was a little in his face. âFeel free to tell your superiors I said the same.â
fscarletgonewildeâ:
Scarlet flashed a judgmental look to the man standing next to her. âA fucking Blue Hawaii?â she questioned, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. For a second she was questioning whether sheâd fucked this guy due to the sheer familiarity she felt around him, but now there was no fucking way. âDoes it look like weâre in fucking Jamaica?â she chuckled, shaking her head before turning to the bartender.
âDonât get him a Blue Hawaii. He actually fireball and Dr. Pepper. Which is still a pussy ass bitch of a drink, but a fucking Blue Hawaii?â she sighed, facing the stranger once more. âAnd thatâs how you get Scarlet to buy you a drink. Congratulations.â
âThe fuckâs your name, anyway?â
âYeah, bitch. I love a Blue Hawaii.â Nate held his arms up in a shrug motion. He couldnât help but roll his eyes, cross his arms and sit back in his seat as Scarlet took over his order. Nathan wasnât sure how he should feel about Scarlet ordering Vergeâs favorite drink order. Was she on to him? Did his familiarity make her miss him. He smirked to himself. He was being cocky. âAwesome. That was my plan all along, to be honest. Thank you.â Nate joked.
He adjusted his posture, he was now leaning against the bar, his hands clasped together. Nathan really just wanted to yell âbitch you practically own this placeâ. He knew very well she didnât actually buy him a drink. Being the dick he was, Nathan wanted to kill her buzz by calling her out. But his identity was slightly, just slightly, more important.Â
âThis is...a nice little bar.â Nathan commented, playing along.
mcmasefaceâ:
Fuck. How did this person know Masonâs name? This is why he wasnât meant to actually fight. He was just meant to be behind the scenes. âI donât know who this Mason is. Iâm Jagwire.â he said quietly glaring at the man in front of him. He shouldâve made the connection but he was so freaked out that this was going on. âHe owed money and we were trying to get it back from him. No one stiffs over a Fabray.â he said a lot more cool and strong than he was feeling. âI suggest you just go and we can pretend this didnât happen.â
âYeah, okay.â Verge sarcastically replied. âBut Iâll amuse you, Jagwire.â He was kind of a dick, even in this persona. âAw, look at you trying to be all large and in charge. Thatâs not how this is going to work.â He started to walk around Mason. Kind of like he was toying with him. âI donât know what these âFabraysâ told you, but you might want to tell them that this isnât how business is down around here. Iâm referring to the uneven 5 to 1 ratio we just witnessed.â After a circle or two around the guy he once again stopped before him. âWhy are you helping them?â Perhaps that was a question directed towards Mason, the guy he once knew. Or maybe Verge was just a little curious.Â
scarletgonewildeâ:
Scarlet scowled as this stranger referred to her as short stuff. She had half a mind to reconsider punching him in the face, but quickly decided he wasnât worth it. The last thing she needed was a run-in with the cops. âI date a variety of sexy men,â Scarlet answered, with a roll of her eyesâŚher eyes that were clearly playing tricks on her. For a second, she could have sworn this was VergeâŚbut he was way too stupid, and not nearly as hot. She sighed, not really sure why this guy was inviting himself to tag along to her hiding space butâŚwhatever. âI know a place. Come on,â she grumbled, grabbing his wrist and leading him away through the crowds of people taking freaking out and taking snapchat stories. She was even kind enough to keep snow off of the stranger, for the time being, until they arrived at the one and onlyâŚBuck Wilde.
Scarlet didnât talk about it much, but this was her favorite place in the city. The only part of the family business that she had any say in. âWelcome. Iâm royalty here,â Scarlet drawled, as she pushed her way into the warm bar. This was one of the few places she was safe, now that she was an illegal mutant on the run. The bartender shot her a smile, and Scarlet made her way over to the bar. âIâll take two whiskeys, neat,â she turned to Nate, smirking. âBoth are for me, you can buy your own drink.â
âNone, as good as me.â He mumbled. Nathan was shocked she actually let him tag along. Perhaps she was curious about how familiar he looked. Oh well. Nathan was amused by her, so why not join.Â
Realizing they had arrived at Buck Wilde, a bar he tried to avoid due to itâs high traffic from those of the supernatural, he grew slightly uncomfortable. There was actually a few regulars there that knew who he was, or could be. He didnât exactly want his identity to be blown. Especially to his ex girlfriend. More like Vergeâs ex girlfriend. Sure, Nathan would smash; however he very well knew Nathan was not exactly her type.
He hoped onto a bar stole and leaned against the bar as she ordered. Nathan, once again, glared at Scarlet as she stiffed him at the bar. âI wasnât expecting you to get me a drink.â He gestured to the bartender. âCan I get a Blue Hawaii?âÂ
mcmasefaceâ:
He doesnât remember getting sucked into this. He wasnât violent. He didnât do violent things. He just kind of did the whole mental fucking with people. So when he ended up in this situation where he was sent with a bunch of the tougher helpers of the Fabray to retrieve what was supposed to be retrieved he was put away on lookout. He was making sure no one was going to interfere and clearly he screwed his job up because before he knew it all the men were on the ground and Mason saw someone standing over them. âHoly shit.â he gasped out, leaning down to help the men who were stopped and check them. Out cold. Dammit.
âLook, dude, I donât wanna fight. So how about you go on your way and mind your own business and we can pretend this never happened.âÂ
Hearing another voice startled, Verge. Thanks to his ring, Verge knew exactly who it was. It was Nathanâs ex. The ex he broke up with because he was a criminal. Nathan didnât exactly want to reveal himself, however, he was curious as to what his role in this situation was. âI know you.â He continued subtly. â..Mason.â Verge took a few steps towards him. âWhat exactly were you guys doing here to that poor man?â No way he was going to leave without some answers.
scarletgonewildeâ:
The weather in Chicago was something Scarlet hadnât missed in prison. This was one of the few times she managed to sneak out of The Fabray, and suddenly it was snowingâŚin August. Typical. Someone couldnât keep their power in their pants. âFuuuck this,â Scarlet groaned, walking away to find somewhere to hide. Snow flakes flew away from Scarlet with every step, but everyone was too busy freaking out to realize that she seemed not to care about the snow, and the snow didnât care about her. While Scarlet could run a bit cold herself, she didnât like getting wetâŚat least, not in that particular sense. Scarlet practically growled when someone bumped into her, rounding on them with a glare and a raised fist. She lowered her fist when she realized their face lookedâŚfamiliar.
âSomeoneâs going apeshit with the weather manipulation. Itâll stop when they get whatever attention theyâre seeking. Thereâs nothing to figure out,â she narrowed her eyes at him, tilting her head. âDo I know you? You look like a guy I used to date. Are you related?â
The snow around them started falling heavier and heavier. She sighed, looking around. âItâs looking like a blizzard, though.â
âJesus, are you about to punch me, short stuff?â Nathan glared at her raised fist. Damn, this girl was aggressive. But he already knew that. Perhaps itâs just been a while since heâs witnessed it in action. âUhm.â Nathan thought for a second as she asked about how he looked familiar. Subtly shaking his head. âUh- I donât know. Do you normally date sexy asian men?â He shrugged. As they continued talking to each other the snow grew heavily. âWell, I donât have the patience to wait for some attention whore to get their attention.â Nathan glanced around them. âSo, we should probably go find somewhere to hide.â He looked back at her. âGot any ideas? You seem like you might know a place or two.â
[ đ ] my muse catches your muse committing a crime. @mcmaseface
Itâs no surprise that Chicago had a big issue with vigilantes roaming the streets to save others. Nathan was aware. Which is why heâd rather instruct others than to conduct heroic acts himself. His supernatural persona, Verge, rarely ever came out in public. In fact, the only time heâs ever been seen outside in the public eye was doing two major situations in dire need of multiple vigilantes.Â
Nonetheless, Nathan didnât expect Verge to come out and play the moment he saw a gang of criminals harassing some poor man in the alleyway. With a single thought, Nate was immediately, more like magically, dressed into his Verge persona. Within seconds all five men were out cold on the ground. âGet out of here.â He said in a calm, yet alert tone.

Nathan was walking his merry way down the streets of Chicago. Specifically the park. When a the weather drastically changed. What originally was a sunny day had turned into a gloomy one. Strangers around him started to panic. âWhat the hell is going on here?â As he started to fast walk around, following the crowd in hopes of finding the source of this incident he bumped into a blonde. Only he knew exactly who he had bumped into. âSc-I mean. Sorry.â He cleared his throat. âJust trying to figure out whatâs happening. Donât mind me.
