I see this guy bounce around from parking lot to parking lot every couple of days. I wonder what all he has up there?

My favorite meal at my favorite restaurant. Thanks @papachaz333! (at Pike National Forest) https://www.instagram.com/p/By71ZQzlQNV/?igshid=1dg0tecwegkzm
This is from a super old roll of Portra 160vc that I recently got developed.
I miss this guy, though I don’t think he is the same guy anymore. From what I can tell, he is a lot cooler.
Here’s a little update on my Deadbolt/Bronco build. I have added a Snorkel by Knight Customs, a 3D Printed grill and gas filler, and a Bronco logo. I still have a lot to go, but I am pretty happy with how its coming out.
:-)
Loading Christmas trees has been my life for the last month. It was fun but I am glad for something new.
I’ve decided to take a little break from my Hilux body and focus on my original Deadbolt/Bronco body for now. I think I will actually eventually get a new chassis for the Hilux. My goal now is to make my Deadbolt look as close to a Bronco as I can and also build a killer Class 2 comp rig.
My blue body didn’t come out that great so I decided to try something a little different wrap my original green body with automative wrap vinyl that we had sitting in the garage. It actually came out really awesome. There are a couple little wrinkles but overall it looks pretty awesome. I love the flat red too. It is really unique.
I’ve added the little bronco logo on the side that looks nice. That is about all I have done so far. I plan on adding a snorkel, a grill with working lights, new wheels, some interior details, and a few other things in the near future. I am pretty happy with it. It’s a cool looking rig.
A little lunch break crawling.
Melvin is 65 years old and has worked hard at a good job his whole life in the city. But this year he finally was able to retire. So he and his wife bought a large chunk of property in the backcountry of Colorado bordering a state park. Eventually he plans to build his dream home but right now they live in a beautiful little cabin already on the property.
Melvin needed a new ride. Now that he lives in the backcountry he needs something capable of getting him around his property and the neighboring state park. He likes to hunt and fish with his dog Spark Plug, and he wants to further pursue his new interest in photography. He looks around and finds someone in a neighboring town selling a 1982 Toyota Hilux. It is a little beat up and it has no bed, but it has already been lifted and is running Maxxis 37″ tires, perfect for getting around the back country. He makes an offer, buys the truck, and immediately puts it to good use.
Melvin has big plans for his little truck. It will be fun to follow along and see what he does to it.
She looks cute in her little hat.
