Some shots that I think best captured the views we saw driving the Alaska highway in the evening.

Last week I was able to spend a day hiking in Glacier National Park. This was the steepest trail in a park known for steep trails. I was able to hike about half way up before hitting the snow line and turning back. The terrain was brutal but the view was absolutely worth it.

I’ve never had a better view for a bonfire.
Still surreal that this is where I get to spend my days off.

A hastily edited v-log of our hike on Mount Hood near Portland, OR.
April 26th.
Taking the scenic route on our way Portland, OR, we wound our way along the forested curves of highway 101. We stopped for a short while to walk the beach of the west coast and wet our feet in the Pacific. Even without the sunshine and with a misty rain, the detour was well worth our time.

Crossing the border, we headed towards Seattle. Navigating its steep, one way streets proved to be an interesting experience. We found a parking lot near the bay and headed toward the historic Pike Place Market for some more sightseeing.

After clearing the airport we spend the day exploring different areas of Vancouver. One of the highlights of the day was visiting Stanley Park. We were there just as the sun was setting, giving us a fantastic view of the city lights of North Vancouver.
