You want me to care about the actions of the Rioters but won't acknowledge the events that lead them to rioting.
Dear non-natives,
Native people are united in many ways but there is no such thing as a collective ânative culture.
A DNA test saying you have native blood does not mean youâre native. Blood does not give you a claim to the hundreds of native cultures that exist. Blood quantum as what determines who is native is a settler colonist idea. Stop.
If you take a DNA test and it comes back saying you have some native blood or if you find out you had a native ancestor and your response is âhow can I profit off thisâ then youâre a piece of shit. You donât give a fuck about native people and itâs obvious.
I get so many messages asking how people can get a tribal card to get scholarships. If youâre one of these people then I have zero respect for you. You have no problem using native claim for profit while you could care less about native struggles.
âBut I have a lot in common with native cultureâ no, no you do not. Again, there are hundreds of native cultures, not just one. Your fascination of the more popularized aspects of only a handful of these cultures does not give you a connection. Thinking something is cool is not a connection. Blood quantum does not give you a connection.
Iâm using this message I got last night as example but this is something I deal with a lot.
#dearnonnatives we can always tell when you love our cultures but could care less about our peoples.
Although I canât stop all cruelty to living creatures on the planet, I can be kinder to every living creature in my life.

Ryan Coogler supports #outlastfilmcamp!
WE HAVE CURRENTLY RAISED 3005$ OF OUR 12500$ GOAL! Please donate, 1$, 5$, 10$ helps!
Outlast aims to increase minority representation in film and media by teaching minority students filmmaking skills so that they can tell their own stories. Outlast also aims to build relationship across minority communities, because together, we can âOutlastâ anything.
This is our third year, and we are heading back to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation from July 3rd - July 12th. Weâll be holding a full short film production experience. The students will write, direct, film and edit a short film. We will then enter the film into festivals.
In addition, we are inviting speakers to Pine Ridge to hold workshops and talks with the students. We are bringing in artist and filmmakers from a variety of multicultural and artistic backgrounds.
After our workshop series, we will have a Make Noise Night, where our students get to share the stage with poets, musicians and artists.
But we canât do this without your help!
Please donate at

And visit
Www.outlastfilmcamp.com for more information about who we are and what we do!
Bonus: Outlast is run entirely by women and people of color. We are African-American, Native-American, Filipino, Native-Hawaiian, and the list continues! We are minority youth coming together to empower minority youth!
Help get the word out, this is so cool! :)
I hope that life treats you well, and when it doesnât, I hope that you treat yourself well.

DO NOT donate to the White Helmets. Iâm telling you this as a Syrian American with family in Syria. Click here to see why. A great alternative to donate to is the Awareness Foundation. They help people in Syria and Iraq.

These chews are called rawhide chews, and please please PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NEVER GET YOUR DOGS THESE!! Theyâre so FUCKING bad and even dangerous for them! Here are reasons why:
1) They use all sorts of chemicals (like formaldehyde, arsenic, and bleach) to preserve them and make them look white and nice for your dog.
2) Not only do they use glue to keep the shape of the bone the way it is, but the thing basically IS glue. Itâs so preserved, that when a dog eats it, it keeps itâs goopiness and can harden in the dogâs stomach, causing blockages. Iâve heard dozens of stories of dogs having to go to the ER to get these surgically removed from their intestines.
3) When theyâre not chewed properly, the edges can be sharp and cause tearing in your dogâs stomach lining.
4) THESE THINGS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO KILL DOGS, CAUSE SEIZURES, ALL SORTS OF OTHER HORRIBLE THINGS, AND THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH.
There are natural alternatives, like tendons, bones, antlers, bully sticks/pizzle sticks, or vege chews. They ARE more expensive, but they are worth the money.

Street art is already awesome, but MarĂa LĂłpez and Javier de Riba have taken it to the next level with their glow-in-the-dark murals that only reveal their secrets at night.
The creative Spanish duo, who go by the name of Reskate Studio, use phosphorescent paint to add an extra dimension to their art by hiding clever pictures inside the images they create. Whether itâs a rabbit that turns into a hand shadow puppet, a loaf of bread with a knife inside, or a Saturn-like planet that becomes a vintage diving helmet, Reskate Studio puts a fun new twist on traditional street art that enables it to be enjoyed regardless of the time of day. Check out a small sample of our favorites below. (Source)
Another amazing set of artists!
