Honestly the first season was going too well . Then the quality of fights started to drop around the selection until it reached disappointing level in national tournament . Valt use only one shoot when this is one round knock . the teams aren’t living it up too mediocre. The strongest won their match but lost for incompetence team members . then the last battle that killed everything.

Shu was building up to play against lui and he grow to be not alone and fond of the team . then you give three matches straight to valt ? every time he entered was the same . this was so disappointing and too much . We know he is spirt fighter but the second match should have been his last chance. i’m so sad because i know I can’t watch this again . 4 match IJBOl

Valt character thought ( watched to ep 24 )

i like the characterization in this series so i want to write my thoughts about it . Most of this will be my own interruption .

i like how valt is a character that act his age and you can see it from first episode and how it progresses later. start from being childish arrogant who didn’t give the game proper thoughts to one who started to think about himself and the sport he love . his good naive nature lead him to the good path in general. however. In this scene the eyes details got me . you could see how shock he was. even when hearing his words the shock was still there for a moment. so ( HC ) like what if this becomes a burdens to him ? this moment where his friend is crying and truly devastated is a first to him . what if he felt like now he isn’t allowed to lose as stress. valt is easily affected by everything which is reasonable and we had seen it few time. i look forward to see him grow.

even as blader , he is still going by feeling and trust most of the time while sometimes thinks . unaware about so much details . I look forward to that too i hope it actually happens

valt is character i felt like my son from episode 1 so seeing him grow and go through daily encounters made me feel proud and worried.
