in this world you won’t always win. you won’t always get the apology you’ve waited years to hear. you won’t always be able to hold on to the people you love. you won’t always receive the love and care you’ve given out.

but Jesus—

Jesus already overcame the world, and when we put our faith and trust in Him, we can take on the world together. He has already won. He has already forgiven us. He never leaves, and He loves us unconditionally—from the beginning of life until eternity.

Your battles? Your trials?

It gets to a point where you realize there is absolutely nothing you can do to change the outcome.

It’s not in your hands to fix anything.

It’s all in God’s control.

So give up your battles, stop fighting someone that you cannot win.

As I placed all of my worries in His nail-pierced hands, I was reminded that He is more than enough.

Those things I felt like I needed or wanted faded into the background, as I was reminded of what He did on that cross for me.
