“Τετέλεσται” - “It is Finished!” Happy Good Friday. ✨
Good Friday to Resurrection Sunday.
Imagine being there on Good Friday… watching Jesus being nailed to the Cross, and in all of the hearts around you there is a sense of hopelessness. A feeling as if your One and only Savior has failed. And then imagine living through Saturday, feeling that it’s really is all over. But then on Sunday, the King of Kings, the Savior of the world proves to be true! He defeats death, and sin is paid for once and for all! He did as He promised, and hope is restored for those who once believed! It gives me chills to think about the span of those three days. So much heartbreak turned into joy and praise. Death couldn’t hold Jesus down. THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND FAITHFULNESS!!!
“Lord, I’m ready for my spouse! Send them to me!”
But what if God is still working on them? Preparing them for His perfect timing, when you two will meet? For when you BOTH will be ready for the commitment, challenges, and joy that marriage brings?
Seasons of waiting are there for a reason. As much as I pleaded with the Lord when I was younger, to SEND ME MY HUSBAND! My husband wasn’t yet ready for me.
And I can confidently say that, being married to him now, that I’m glad the Lord waited.
Hang in there, brothers & sisters!
Some important reminders I think you need to hear today:
Your physical and mental health are important, but so is your spiritual health. Treat it accordingly and nourish it! It sets the foundation for everything else in your life.
Sometimes it’s okay to not know the answer, and sometimes it’s okay to be wrong even if you do.
You’re going to go through spiritual highs, lows, and plateaus in life. Every season is necessary. Every season can teach and grow you. God is still in control in each one of those seasons of life.
You are not TOO lost, TOO out of reach, TOO “bad” or TOO much of a failure to go to God. In fact, you’re pretty much the TYPE that God’s heart yearns to love!!!
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Flowers don’t grow overnight. Kill those thoughts in your head that say you’ve failed when you barely started the growth process. Growth takes time.

Lord, what ever it is I desire, may I desire you more.
What ever it is I seek, may I seek you more.
What ever it is I love, may I love you more.
Be more to me than anything else in this world.
Jesus is radical. Grace is radical. The Gospel is radical. Christianity isn't for the faint at heart.
“I believe that God has my best interest in mind, always. Discovering what that looks like, is worth pursuing… and in order to discover it, I must first pursue God.”
— l.f.
“When I picture God, I picture Him carrying everything in this world that weighs me down: my sin, my anxiety, my doubt, my heartache - EVERYTHING. When I read His Word, I’m comforted because it says this is what He actually does.”
— l.f.
The Gospel in 10 words.
God created. Man sinned. Jesus came. Jesus saved. Man redeemed.
“I could come up with countless reasons why things won’t work out for me, and only one reason why it will. This one reason triumphs everything else, and that reason is that God is for me. His plans for me are good, and in this thought, I place my hope.”
— l.f.
“One day, I talked to God. I haven’t stopped talking since.”
— l.f.
I pray God’s truth goes in your ear and doesn’t come out the other. May it soak into your mind and find a home in your heart.
