I was in a pretty bad car accident last night. I got T-Boned on the driver’s side by a big truck in my Scion IQ. The car was totaled. Miraculously no one was severely injured, but I’m pretty banged up. Bit my tongue and got thrashed around pretty bad, so there’s a lot of pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders, plus swelling where my seatbelt held me down. I’m told no one else got hurt and damage to the other car wasn’t nearly as bad. I was only 1 out of 5 years through paying my car off. I’m hoping my insurance covers everything, but I’m worried about things going forward. Finances were slim already, now I’m out of a car and I’m gonna have hospital bills with no health insurance. Things are gonna be rough for a while.
