WRITING UPDATE
What I'm working on and upcoming as of May 2026.
TRIBULATIONS | Alfred Nott x Hermione. AU Was meant to be a one-shot set in the Trials Universe where Tom sends Alfie to deal with Hermione, instead of himself. But, it's turned into something massive, and I assume it's going to be around the same length as the original, but slow and unusual updates, seeing as I'm just writing when other obligations are fulfilled. It's turned into one chapter per ritual. | 4/9 Update coming in June
SEASON OF THE WITCH | Draco x Hermione, Draco Malfoy is brought in on loan to try to help change the Montrose Magpies fortunes and player liaison Hermione is tasked with keeping him happy. It's a football AU, it's a bewitched AU | Complete
TRUE BLUE | Draco x Hermione, Cinderella AU. One-shot | July 2026?
THE INFANTA | Black Family Focused, Hermione is Bellatrix and Rodolphus's daughter. Long Multi-Chapter | Summer 2026, August/September Time Frame
ARMS FULL OF LULLABIES | Theo x Hermione. A little epistolary story that I am mostly mentioning because I miss the pairing | 2026, July Time Frame
CRUEL, TENDERLY | Rodolphus x Hermione, Multi-chapter. A dark story, whose plot has been clanging around in the back of my mind for ages, wondering if I will ever get the guts to write it. Not sure if anyone would actually want to read it. Spying with Polyjuice has it's consequences. 40 chapters-ish. | Autumn/Winter 2026?
HERE I DREAMT I WAS A ROSIER REWRITE | Tom x Hermione, Multi-chapter. How I would write the plot of Here I Dreamt I Was A Rosier if I was writing it now. Time Travel AU. Hermione at Hogwarts in the 40s with the Rosiers as her siblings. | 2026?
I’d love to hear if you have any of these you are really looking forward to 💕
SEASON OF THE WITCH
Draco x Hermione | M | Complete | 72k song inspo. league table as it stands. Finding himself in a relegation fight, Montrose Magpie's manager Harry Potter knows he needs to do something drastic to turn 'round his team's fortunes — something like spend all his transfer budget on striker Draco Malfoy. He's certain that Malfoy will bring something magical to the Magpie's front line. But, he needs Malfoy to settle in quickly, so he turns to Hermione Granger, a player liaison who just might have a bit of magic up her own sleeve to keep Malfoy happy.

"Well, if you need anything else, you can text me. I'm here to just make sure you have what you need so you can put all your energy into playing well," she said after a beat. "Though, I fail to see how you could need anything else after I completed your extensive to-do list."
"Next time, make sure you actually read the list properly," he said, wanting to rub her face in the one small mistake that he'd noticed. He wasn't going to like Montrose and he certainly wasn't going to like this annoying glorified PA that Potter had stuck him with.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, her voice going a bit shrill.
"I specifically said that I like green apples," he drawled, knowing that he had done no such thing. He'd just asked for apples and there they were, sitting in his fridge crisper. "Not red ones."
He watched something like fury come over her face, her nose twitching while she tried to keep her outburst in. Granger took a deep breath and replaced the anger with something more serene. Odd sort of anger management maneuver, Draco thought meanly.
"I think you should look again," she said sweetly. "Because the apples are definitely green. Granny smith. I picked them up myself." She tried, and failed, to hide a triumphant smirk. "Anyways, I'll be by on Saturday morning to take you to the home game. You won't be playing yet, but do try to look presentable."
Granger didn't wait for him to dismiss her before she was flouncing out of his new flat, leaving him behind with a slam of the door. He barely waited for her to get down the first flight of stairs before he was ripping open his fridge, finding perfect green apples waiting for him there — Granny smith, just as she'd said.
Chapter Seventeen
When she had first met Draco, she had found him to be quite attractive, but any attraction she had to him was completely erased by his attitude. However, as she got to know him better and he opened up to Montrose, and his layers of cockiness and entitlement melted away, she found that attraction blossomed quite naturally. When it became clear that he might actually be interested in her as well, Hermione knew that he was only going to be there for a short time.
She wasn't sure why, but that somehow made it infinitely easier to find herself in a little spring fling with him. It was just for fun, it wasn't going to last, and they were both getting something enjoyable out of it. But at some point over the last few months, that easy fling had grown into something far more meaningful to her. She wasn't sure when it was — maybe it was when he'd told her about his love of astronomy over Thai food or maybe it was being held in an Italian interrogation room with him — but she had genuine feelings for him now. She'd told him she was falling for him, but Hermione was afraid the fall had ended and now she was in deep with Draco.
She couldn't bear the thought of it coming to an end.
To her utter mortification, she realized that she had started crying. First, it was just a quick tear down her cheek, followed by a little sniffle, only to be revealed as a full blown sob. She couldn't hide her reaction from Draco.
"Jeez, Hermione? What's the matter?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her head to his chest. His heart beat steady and sure under her ear. "I'm sorry my mum is such a bitch. I really don't think any differently about you because of her reactions."
"It's not that," she managed to gasp out, almost amused that he thought she would be quite so devastated at the idea that Narcissa Malfoy might not like her.
"What's the matter then?" he asked, gently.
"It's just that... it's just that—" she tried to figure out how to get the words out, only to be thwarted by her sobs. Determined, she took a deep breath. "It's just that I was thinking... what are the chances that we are even still together in a year's time?"
"Are you... are you trying to break up with me?" he demanded.

Chapter Sixteen
If they had been playing anyone but Pride, Draco wasn't sure that he would have been given the go ahead to play at all in the final game of the season. Even though he was technically cleared for team play, Draco knew that the trainer was less than enthused about his rush to return to the pitch for fear of re-aggravating his injury. But, he'd firmly reminded Potter that Pride was the absolute dregs of the table and they were unlikely to put up much of a fight in their game. He promised to let them know the minute that he had so much as a twinge so he could be subbed off.
But, he thought that Potter must have realized there was no other outcome but him playing — it was the last bloody game of the season and if they won, they would win it all! They needed Draco Malfoy, even a slightly less than fit Draco Malfoy, to help push them over the edge.
It felt good to be back on the pitch again in the pale blue away kits of the Magpies after so long out of them. When he got dressed, he'd taken a long look at himself in the mirror and felt his stomach churn a bit at the idea that this was probably the last time that he'd wear the kit.
And the roar from the away fans when they saw him jogging out on the pitch — that had gotten him choked up. He didn't think he'd ever felt so... so wanted as he did here in Montrose. It was going to be hard to say goodbye.
He decided that he was going to leave it all out on the pitch for them. He never wanted anyone to suggest that Draco Malfoy hadn't even every ounce of himself to the club. He was relentless in his play, linking up effortlessly with Adrian even after a few weeks off. They had barely played ten minutes before he'd scored their first goal of the match. And then, he followed it up with a second after thirty-six minutes.

While I am on the topic of Tomione, now that I am finishing up Season of the Witch, which is obviously Bewitched inspired, I am sort of taken with the idea of a Tomione version of I Dream of Jeanie. Hermione is a genie who is so excited to get her master, because everyone says they are so wonderful, but for some reason, her master keeps asking her to do some really awful things….
I love that even over ten years later the ending of Here I Dreamt I Was A Rosier still gets people!

Chapter Fifteen
"Okay, so what the hell happened back there?" Draco asked, his grey eyes trained on her face.
Hermione took a deep breath. "There is no easy way to say this, so I will just tell you. I'm a witch," she said, bracing herself for a freakout.
He blinked once, twice. But then, he started to laugh. "Come on," he scoffed. "Really?"
"Yes, really. I am a witch. I have magic," she explained. "That's why I am so good at my job. I can transfigure your apples to be granny smith or fold your socks with a wiggle of my nose. I can conjure a pair of football socks or give you a warming charm when you offer me your jacket." She felt her cheeks go red at all that she was admitting to him about what she'd been up to.
"Prove it," he said, jutting his chin in the air, skeptical as ever.
"Okay..." Hermione said, looking around the room. Draco's clothing was strewn around his suitcase on the floor after nearly two weeks of living out of it, messy as ever. A wiggle of her nose had his laundry gathered and folded, before sliding carefully away into the suitcase.
His eyes widened in shock and he leaned away from her. "What the fuck," he whispered, aghast.
