PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS! ✨ I don’t think a day goes by that I’m not awestruck by the amount of history and architecture in south Italy 🇮🇹 Most Americans I know that travel to Italy stay in the north (Venice, Florence, Rome track). It BREAKS my heart 💔 because there’s SO MUCH history and culture in south Italy (seriously, it’s INSANE), but it’s as if no one knows about it. Why? I tell people I live in Calabria and they have no idea where it is. The minute I say it’s in South Italy, they say they love Venice, Florence, and Rome 🙄 *Eye Roll* Those cities are great and all but they’re flooded with tourists (and tourist traps).
