MY FIRST MARVEL LEGENDS WINDOWLESS BOXED FIGURE. A NEW ERA I know. I just went down a rabbit hole of "how awful are the new Marvel Legends windowless boxes" and found them terrifically awful , for the most part. I've been seeing the onslaught of windowless Spider-Men and all of their paint gaffs literally everywhere...and then there he was. Of course after a night I drove all over town excited to find a Venom 2 Pack to no avail- (after watching a wicked review of him on Tik Tok. OMG. He might be my new favorite Gargoyle) the last stop right before closing Gamestop had a Sentry I knew was coming, but completely forgot about. And he's kind of awesome. Will this ease my mind about windowless boxes being excuses for Hasbro to cut costs on testing and QA? Probably not, but I wanted to live in a world where there was a Sentry figure that could be awesome and I now live in that world. I do, however, have a note concerning how weird the unboxing experience is now and it very much reminds me of opening the old G.I. Joe vehicles when I was a kid. The only window back then was for the figures, and then you open a box to a bunch of packaged parts and you still haven't unboxed the figure. It was also like stereo equipment...or most appliances these days, only not near as heavy and not encased in Styrofoam and you have to either wedge the box between your legs or get someone to help you with the tug of war of removing the item from the vacuumed package. It's way easier unboxing a Marvel Legends figure than an Ice Maker. You can quote me on that. #toys #figures #actionfigures #collector #unboxed #easy #canada🇨🇦 #nerd #marvel #sentry #marvellegends (at The Moon) https://www.instagram.com/p/CikWvs9uUL9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
