Labor Story of Raynor Michael Chase

Ok just shy of him turning 2 months I've found time to write this. 3 Babies mean time is rare. I was dilated at 3cm for 3 weeks! I would have constant contractions EVERY night starting around 6PM and would continue till midnight and then just stop. I had 3 false alarm hospital trips because of these contractions. Every night I would cry because by the third week I was completely exhausted and hated my body for failing each night bc I was in beyond amounts of pain. The issue was that Raynor pushed my water bag straight down and was laying on it so it was relaxing the dilation and not allowing him to move down to continue the dilation. By 39 weeks I was exhausted and just giving up on my body. My 40 week checkup my midwife said she was going to give me a thorough checkup, what I didn't know was that meant she was stripping my membranes....my gosh that was soo painful. But she explained that she had to or I could continue this issue for more weeks and he was getting to big for my body. This Happened at 4:30pm. By 6pm I was CERTAIN my contractions were MUCH stronger and constant at 5 minutes apart. By 7 I called my midwife to ask if i should come in. She told me not till 4 minutes or less. So I went to bed. Or I tried to sleep. At 11 I woke up in PAIN. I woke my husband up and said I was going to bathe and see if it progressed and I timed them and still 5 minutes apart.I was bawling. By 1am I told my husband if I wait too long I'll never male it to hospital and to screw what my midwife said about the timing. So we left. There was construction so we got to hospital by 2am. 2:20 they admitted me and checked and I was 4cm and 90%effaced. I was in the birthing centre for an all natural birth bc I wanted to prove I could do it. I started in the shower which the water felt amazing. I was waiting for my tub to fill up. I tried walking,the ball and couldn't bare the pain and was about to beg to get epidural. But then the bath was ready. It helped solo much. It was tolerable with the pain. But then my water broke. The other 2 births as soon as my water broke at 4cm I had the baby within the hour. Well story held strong with third baby. They checked me after it broke and I was 4cm. Within 30 minutes I was SCREAMING for drugs and I needed to push. I was 10cm so they told me to get out of bath bc it was time. My legs weren't strong so I laid on my back. I was the worst natural labor patient im sure. Husband said it looked like I was demonic LOL. I just screamed and kept begging for help. As his head came out everything changed. I saw my midwife and doulas faces. The cord was wrapped around his neck TWICE and tightly. He was purple. Midwife couldn't cut cord. They scrambled and called an emergency. They needed him To come out. He got stuck in my hip. The doula jumped up on top of me and was pushing my belly to get him out. All was a blur. By the time he got to the warmer he was breathing thankfully. I didn't get delayed cord clamping. I got to hold him for a picture and then he was sent to NICU for 40 mins. Husband told me they got yelled at bc it took them 1 minute to get up to my room and that it wasn't acceptable and that they better be thankful he was already breathing. I was beyond sad. It hurt me to see my,husband holding Raynor for 40 minutes and bonding. I felt and still feel I lost those precious moments that Mom and baby are supposed to have. But I DID it. I gave birth all naturally to a 9 pound 10 ounce baby. 23 and a quarter inches long. And I would never do it again.
