Having a woman cover every aspect of her body in the name of “modesty” bc men can’t find it in themselves to not sexualize and objectify even the elbow of a woman is insane.
Living in a world where you’ll be exiled bc u want to show your hair?? Wearing jeans that are “form fitting” bc you might tempt a man into wanting you and ofc it’s your fault bc why would you put those pants on??? You know men will only sexualize you, stop it!!!
It’s so incredibly hypocritical and you only need to understand that controlling what part of a woman’s body gets shown bc you want to “protect” her is only enabling predators more than “helping.
And yes culture is big part of it, but you’re doing a huge disservice to the women affected by femicide in the name of religion as well
Likes yes Islam has done a lot to protect and honor the rights of women, but there’s also a lot that’s up to interpretation that leads to the abuse of women and shouldn’t be free of accountability??
