Trigonometry Formulas for Class 10
Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that is the study of length and angles of triangles.
For more details : Trigonometry Formulas for Class 10
Trigonometry is most simply associated with planar right-angle triangles (each of which is a two-dimensional triangle with one angle equal to 90 degrees). The applicability to non-right-angle triangles exists, but, since any non-right-angle triangle (on a flat plane) can be bisected to create two right-angle triangles, most problems can be reduced to calculations on right-angle triangles.

Areas of Parallelograms and Triangles Class 9
Areas of Parallelograms and Triangles Class 9
Area of a Triangle The area of a polygon is the number of square units inside that polygon. Area is 2-dimensional like a carpet or an area rug. A triangle is a three-sided polygon. We will look at several types of triangles in this lesson. To find the area of a triangle, multiply the base by the height, and then divide by 2. The division by 2 comes from the fact that a parallelogram can be divided into 2 triangles. For example, in the diagram to the left, the area of each triangle is equal to one-half the area of the parallelogram. A = 1/2 * Base * Height.

The surface area is the area that describes the material that will be used to cover a geometric solid. When we determine the surface areas of a geometric solid we take the sum of the area for each geometric form within the solid. The volume is a measure of how much a figure can hold and is measured in cubic units. The volume tells us something about the capacity of a figure.
