i’m only going to say one thing about this entire situation, and it’s this. after moments such as these, when a prevalent suicide occurs in a community, it’s common for “suicide spikes” to occur – people often start thinking about it more. i can’t tell you to stay safe, because your safety isn’t entirely on you, but take care of yourselves.

There was a suicide spike at my school in my junior year. We lost three people, one of whom I was somewhat familiar with and one who was my friend. I don’t want this to happen again.
