10 Forgotten French Occultists Who Influenced Modern History.
France has produced a lot of occultists since the Enlightenment, but they’ve been largely forgotten by history. In our new era of rationalism, academia has generally refused to even consider these people and their contributions, dismissing them as eccentrics and nutjobs. That’s a shame, because regardless of what you might personally believe about the occult, these people’s stories can be pretty weird and interesting. Sometimes, they’ve influenced the world in lasting and meaningful ways that you might not expect. Source: Listverse
