❛ please don’t go. ❜ ❛ don’t turn around. ❜ ❛ eat my dust. ❜ ❛ suck my ass. ❜ ❛ what’s for dinner? ❜ ❛ drunk i’m not. ❜ ❛ where’s your coat? ❜ ❛ bring some beers. ❜ ❛ are you home? ❜ ❛ say my name. ❜ ❛ i can’t go.❜ ❛ i’d like none. ❜ ❛ well fuck me. ❜ ❛ are you sick? ❜ ❛ i’m freezing cold. ❜ ❛ you’re all wet. ❜ ❛ are you drunk? ❜ ❛ don’t look back. ❜ ❛ it says ‘positive’.❜ ❛ run far away.❜ ❛ you are screwed. ❜ ❛ damn it’s hot. ❜ ❛ get here easily? ❜ ❛ don’t touch me. ❜ ❛ it’s cold out. ❜ ❛ just leave me. ❜ ❛ i like you. ❜ ❛ talk to me. ❜
“We prefer the merchandise to be in one piece. If you could refrain from dropping it, that’d be great.”

“So just a general magic shop then?” It’s a crude term, but he’s been in her shoes; save for the fact that she seems to like her grandmother and there isn’t any ill-feelings in the air. Sometimes, he wished the same could be said about him and his late Uncle. “I like it. Don’t see too many of these around anymore. Hell, I took mine and made it into a bar. Figured it would be a bit more fun to manage.” He chuckles out, rounding a grandfather clock and making his way down the aisle. “No shit?” The blond raises up, stands on his tip toes to peer over the shelf at the girl. “Are we talking like church-esque statue or more like the crusader type with all the blood and what not?”
“Pretty much, at least to those who know about that stuff. To most, it’s just an antique store.” She nods, pulling an old, metal teapot from the box and blowing the dust off it. “Sometimes I think working at a bar would be better, but this is all I’ve known. It’s home.” Dark gaze finds him for a moment, before returning to the rusted teapot in her hands. Nia brings it closer to her face, sniffing inside, her face contorts as she pulls her head away. “He was crying blood, and the nails in the hands were extremely detailed. Hard to believe an ex-nun bought it.”
“Sorry, psychic’s out so no readings today. Come back tomorrow if you’re that desperate.”

“No, don’t do that it’s not safe.”
“You’re scared of that, aren’t you?”
“Don’t touch her/him!”
“It’s cute that you tried to protect me and all, but you’re like a foot shorter than me, you know?”
“I will always step in between you and something like that.”
“Why? Because I don’t want you to get hurt, that’s why!”
“Do you think just because my feet don’t touch the bottom of the pool that I need a floatie?”
“The stepping stool is unecessary.”
“I’m not apologizing for what I said to that asshole/jerk… He/she was saying terrible things about you.”
“If you say another word about her/him, you’ll regret it.”
“I don’t want to put you in that type of environment.”
“Make sure to tell me if you get worried, or nervous, or claustrophobic, or-”
“You could have been hurt.”
“I indirected him/her on Twitter for your honor.”
“I think you should leave this type of thing to me.”
“I’m gonna protect you.”
“You can hold onto me if you’re scared, you know?”
“I’m not leaving you alone. Not now, not ever.”
“Let’s all watch a different movie. This one freaks her/him out.”
“I get where you’re coming from dude, but honestly shut the hell up and don’t talk about her/him that way.”
“She/He isn’t an object.”
“She/he told me what you did, and all I’m gonna do is tell you to stay away.”
“You don’t know anything about her/him!”
“What? You think that was funny? You just insulter her/him, and expect me to laugh?”
“I’m not gonna let you put up with that.”
“Really, if you told me to I’d go punch them for you.”
“Wait, let me walk you home.”
“I’ll drive you, please– please don’t go like this.”
“It’s dangerous.”
“I’m worried about you.”
“I meant it when I said I would protect you.”
“I’m not stepping aside until you back up.”
“It’s too cold for you to come out here without a jacket on.”
“I’ll go see what the noise was.”
“Stay on the phone with me.”
“Promise me you’ll be safe.”
“I don’t feel comfortable with you going there on your own.”
“He/She did what to you?”
“I won’t let you go through something like that again.”
“I’m not perfect, but I’m trying my hardest to do everything to keep you safe.”
“Stay behind me.”
“I promised your mom to make sure you didn’t do anything stupid tonight.”
“I love you. Of course I’m gonna defend you like that.”
“No, he/she isn’t good enough to take you out. Trust me, I know.”
“Are you planning to stay glued to my side this whole evening?”
“I’ll be okay, because I know you’re back here ready to step in if I need you.”
“Thank you for always sticking with me.”
“I’m really worried about her/him, but I don’t think he/she wants me to call.”
“I don’t know what I would do if something happened to you.”
“Like, I don’t expect to ever have to take a bullet for you, but I would.”

“I play basketball not football, but alright,” Laurent says putting the vase down and glancing at her. “Better?”
“Whatever, it’s not for throwing around.” She sighs, resisting the urge to scoff out loud. “Much. Now, is there anything I can help you with? Or did you just come here to break things?”
intheflcsh:
“Bummer.” He winces, lets his tongue click against his teeth. It probably sounds wrong coming from him, as if he has bad intentions for one of the objects, but that’s not the case at all. “Maybe I will, probably not though. ” Casually, the mage begins to wander about a bit; digits rubbing idly against several different pieces. “So you guys just have a hodge podge of stuff, or you only take in certain items?”
Nia hums, dark brows raising slightly. She runs a hand through her hair once she’s tidied up, turning to see if anything else was out of place. “Antiques mainly, books, ingredients for spells and potions, or whatever grandma likes the look of.” She saunters back over to the counter, opening the box she put down earlier. “We once had a giant statue of Jesus, on the cross. Luckily he sold pretty quickly, it freaked me out a little.”
“Can you please be careful with that? It’s a very fragile vase, not a football.”

Lips purse once more, a nod of understanding given on his behalf. It makes sense after all; no need for a security system when you got cursed objects that catch everyone’s eye. “Makes sense.” The mage finally speaks up, “Though I know of a lot of people who’d like to get a hold of these things cursed or not. Wouldn’t happen t’ know if she’d be willing to sell one of ‘em do ‘ya?”
Another shrug, and Nia is making her way over to tidy up some misplaced jewellery. “I know she occasionally sells them, but she likes to know the person, see what their intentions are.” She mutters, placing a few rings back in their holders. “I’d go and get her, but she’s not here. She’s off doing some reading in Reno, so if you really want something, you’ll have to come back in a couple of days.”

☆ ———– MTV SCREAM SENTENCE STARTERS.
❛ I mean, call me crazy but I think we’re in Freddy vs. Jason territory here. ❜ ❛ It’s like the killer is combining these two legends into one brand new murder spree. ❜ ❛ I was expecting crazy Ralph from Friday the 13th so nope. ❜ ❛ I’m barely responsible for myself. ❜ ❛ I thought you said this was going to be a mansion. ❜ ❛ I know my mansions, this is really more of a bungalow. ❜ ❛ We’re trying to lure the killer and you show up. ❜ ❛ I’m sorry, this is a pretty classic “don’t let him in” situation, right? ❜ ❛ I guess I didn’t think of you as the hospital visit type. ❜ ❛ You know the whole, horrible, embarrassing story. ❜ ❛ You broke my heart! I loved you, okay, and you broke my heart. ❜ ❛ That’s a pretty outdated way of thinking. ❜ ❛ Virgin? Seriously? Where did you learn to do that? ❜ ❛ It’s a terrible movie, but one hell of a sex scene. ❜ ❛ See this is why people think you’re creepy. ❜ ❛ Do you think I’m creepy? ❜ ❛ I’m sorry, this isn’t the right place. ❜ ❛ This is the stupidest, most insane thing ever. ❜ ❛ The only thing scary here is this dress. ❜ ❛ I’m not a stranger, okay, I’m just strange. ❜ ❛ That’s never gone bad for anyone in a movie ever. ❜ ❛ First shut up, second, it’s just a study session. ❜ ❛ I get that you’re scared, but I understood. ❜ ❛ We all have our ways of coping. ❜ ❛ The kid screwed me over and skipped town. ❜ ❛ This is my life. Not some stupid campaign. ❜ ❛ You mean looking out for my boobs? ❜ ❛ Are you flirting with me? ❜ ❛ Thank God because this drink is undrinkable. ❜ ❛ If one of us gets hurt, we all get hurt. ❜ ❛ Second chances are rare. Don’t waste them. ❜ ❛ I’m making a knife stick. ❜ ❛ I need, like, a Men in Black brain wipe. ❜ ❛ Is that a pig? God, I’m never eating bacon again. ❜ ❛ I’m the only one who knows how to reset the router. ❜ ❛ Well we don’t want you getting arrested. ❜ ❛ If I can’t trust you, I can’t be with you. ❜ ❛ Aww, you wanna come in the hot tub with me? ❜ ❛ The weak are outed and then eaten. ❜ ❛ It’s the time honored enforcement of the food chain. ❜ ❛ Considering my ex-beau might be a mass murderer, who am I to criticize? ❜ ❛ Love the colors, but the spots? Too much. ❜ ❛ I can’t believe you two came here without me. ❜ ❛ Hey, we could team up: Bi-curious and the Virgin. ❜ ❛ I was gonna be the Babadook, but then my mom made this cape. ❜ ❛ What? No, you love taco Tuesday. ❜ ❛ So, pretty much everybody’s a suspect, including us. ❜ ❛ I think this is the beginning of a beautiful mutual tolerance. ❜ ❛ Cue creepy murder music. I knew I was missing something. ❜ ❛ You’re not going to die! Tonight, we change the ending. ❜ ❛ Oh, crap. I’m gonna die. ❜ ❛ Actually, we could all use a minute. ❜ ❛ Hey, um, thanks for saving my life. ❜ ❛ Boom, but then what? Take a victory lap around the pool? ❜ ❛ We know what you’re going through, and we’re here if you need us. ❜ ❛ I’ve never seen him/her with his/her mouth shut before. ❜ ❛ Maybe it’s time to dig a little deeper. ❜ ❛ Pick one, slay one, console one, then repeat. ❜ ❛ What made him/her start killing people? ❜ ❛ Okay, not a lesbian, not discussing it. ❜ ❛ You root for them, you love them, so when they are brutally murdered, it hurts. ❜ ❛ You have to care if the team wins the big game. ❜ ❛ You have to care if the smart, pretty girl forgives the dumb jock. ❜ ❛ You can’t do slasher moves as a TV series. ❜ ❛ You wanna feel the sting of this sexually-confused Atheist’s foot up your butt? ❜ ❛ Hey, hey! I made you microwave popcorn, remember? ❜ ❛ I know you want the truth. So, let’s find it. ❜ ❛ A yearbook? That’s not so weird. ❜ ❛ That’s the world’s saddest crime fighting duo. ❜ ❛ No, I’d rather channel my anguish into something productive. ❜ ❛ Did you just try to tase my man parts? ❜ ❛ There are not enough happy face emojis in the world to express how much I needed that. ❜

“Cursed?” Oh that was just rich. Seems like after all his searching, he’s found some place that still holds some authentic relics. A smirk pulls to his lips, body turning to face the younger woman as she leans back against the counter. “Ever thought about hiring someone t’…’ya know—” Digits wiggle as if he were casting some sort of hex himself, “—remove ‘em?”
“Nah, grandma likes to keep ‘em dangerous.” She states, eyes glancing up to the objects. “If someone breaks in, then they’ll probably go for those first. She says it’ll be a nasty surprise for them.” Nia shrugs, slightly unsure of herself. She’s never been allowed to touch them, and they’ve been there ever since she can remember. Still, she doesn’t feel like finding out if they’re actually cursed.
