There was something so...homey about Deathstroke. He never understood it himself, the attraction to the merc. Something visceral, something deep in his chest that longed to be in his company. Some would call it crazy, himself included. He tried not to act on these urges, but something always brought them together again and again.

Clothes torn to shreds, from both his own rage and the bullets penetrating his hide, he stood above Deathstroke. Their enemies lay dead, and Croc was surprisingly bleeding out slowly from the wounds in his back.

The door to the penthouse opened, Waylon's usually neutral expression shifting to that of a soft smile. He had such a soft spot for Roy. Shifting out of the way so he could enter the penthouse, Croc's tail drug on the ground behind him, not wanting the smaller man to trip over it.

"Made ya some courtbouillon." He spoke, gesturing towards the kitchen that looked like a kids play area compared to Croc. He's never actually cooked for Roy before, so he hoped he liked something with a little kick. He shut the door behind Roy, turning to face his friend now. "Said ya' needed tah' talk?"

I wanna be clear with my thoughts on NA/AA. I'm not an addict (I'm on pain pills but I like to think I'm not an addict), I wanna make that clear. Croc's experience with drugs is inspired by my mother in law's, who's been on drugs since 9 years old and up until 21 years ago (everyone wish her a happy 21 years clean btw).

As someone who's been in a cult (JW), I can kinda spot the way that they treat NA here in shit hole mormonville Utah, is the same way they treat the JW cult. My mil would drag my wife and I to her meetings and events, and I really think Croc would be a little uncomfy if that's the way they were in Arkham/Gotham too.

Does that mean he wouldn't do drugs? He can't do most drugs physically. He smokes weed, but he understands gateway drugs and how that affects people. If his sponsee couldn't do weed, he wouldn't smoke it around them and insist (threaten) people respect that. He's happy to be a sponsor, and he's happy to help people in ways that they need; whether it be threatening them, keeping them in line, or even helping them through the bad days. He doesn't do the prayer himself, but he has it memorized for those who do need it.

Clambering out of the building, he straightened with his bag of new books, pausing when he came face to face with Superman himself. One of those ruby red eyes twitched, and he sighed.

"Left money on tha' counter." He stated dully, sounding exhausted by the fact that the hero was before him. There was a news van nearby - probably trying to geta good view of Killer Croc getting his ass kicked by the golden boy Superman.

Metropolis was so nice compared to Gotham - but the people sure as hell weren't used to him here the way they were there. Men, women and children screaming and scrambling out of his way, people closing up shop to try to turn him away...What a fucking nightmare.
