Taeyong : Taeyong would love it, especially when you bought the couple item that he really like example; snapbacks. He would treasure the snapback so much he woul wear it in almost everytime he practice. If you both happen to wear it at the same time, he will ask you to take picture of it and he will show it to the members, “We’re snapback soulmates” he showed off.

Taeil : “Couple items? Sure why not. Just don’t pick the childish one okay?” what he means by the childish like couple plushies, or furry animal hats, you know the very cute type. He rather get the items like matching water bottles, so he can drink from it and think of you. He agrees to most functional items you can get.

Yuta : He would think you are so lame like “Really? Couple items? That’s just so cliché” he rolled his eyes. But that one time you insisted to buy one and you bought him a sleeveless shirt that says ‘HOT’ turns out to be his favourite shirt. You have the match tank tops and he loves it when you put it on.  

Johnny : He always get you both couple items so when you said you decided to buy he gets really excited. He is obsessed with couple items okay, matching phone case, keychains, shirts, rings, braceletes you name it he got it all.

Ten : Ten would be okay with any couple items, he finds you really cute when you want to have couple items. You bought him an earring which is a pair; you wear it right side and he wear it left. He finds it a really unique couple items.

Doyoung : When you got Doyoung a matching bracelets, he is really surprised and happy at the same time. More over, he even teases you. “So, is this a symbol that you will lock me and I can’t run away from you?” he sigh, “My life is over…”

Jaehyun :  Matching keychains which have a your name and his name would definitely put a smile on his face. “Wah, I didn’t know you would be this cheesy Y/N” he said with a blushing face. He always put it on his bags when he goes to his schedule so that you can see it.

Winwin : “Oh, matching sweater? Why sweater though?” he asked you. You said that so when he gets cold,he can imagine you hugging him by wearing it. Then, he smiles like a dork he is.

Mark : You and Mark are on a date when you saw this really cool bagpack design and you instantly want to make it as you both ‘it’ couple items. He is really proud when he was wearing it at school and everyone thinks it’s a very trendy bagpack. He dated the right girl, he thought of himself.

Haechan : He got furious when you said you want to buy a couple masks as your it couple items. “Why do I want to hide my handsome face from the public? Why are you like this?” he asked. You said you don’t want any other girls to see his good looking face other than you. He smirks, “Okay, you got a point there” ;D

Jaemin : You will get a couple bookmark with Jaemin since he likes to read books and oftenly studying (such a hardworking baby :3). When you give him the bookmark which is in gold plated with floral carved, he is touched by it. You have the same kind only in silver color as you show it to him. “Thanks Y/N, make sure you use yours too okay” he inderectly reminding you to read books more. 

Jeno : You gave Jeno a matching socks as your couple items. “So, I have to wear it everyday? Cuz it’s our couple thingy?” he asked confusedly. You explained that he can wear it anytime, then he nodded. He thought if it’s a couple item he need to wear it all the time but you said you are not that possessive so yea he does not have to worry.

Renjun : When you gave him the Moomin tshirt as your couple items, he cheers joyfully and hugged you tight. “Y/N, this is so cute! It’s the best couple item you’ve ever got for me, thank you” he exclaimed. He is so happy to get the tshiirt that he takes a photo of you both wearing it and frame it at his room. 

Chenle :  He laughed so hard when you showed him your couple items are dolphin hat. He finds it so amusing that you can think of it as a couple items for you both. None the less, he wears it from time to time cuz you said it looks so adorable on him.

Jisung : “Oh, you give me the same earphone design as yours” he said. When you reveal it was your couple items, he got confused. “Oh, there is such thing as couple items?” he became more and more puzzled. At last, you just told him to received it like a normal gift.

Rain and City Lights (Drabble)

Member : Ten x Reader

Genre : Fluff

Word Count : 566 words

It took them almost one hour to escaped from the lively night market at Yeouido, as it is always flooded by the local visitors and tourists. You and Ten did not even bought as much stuffs like the others, you both just enjoy each other company and fascinated by any bizarre scene you came crossed. He intertwined your hand with his hand then leads you to another street to discover even though the night is getting late. But, as you both keep on walking, the road is getting quite and it perks your curiousity to ask your boyfriend if you are going at the right direction this time. You halted his steps and faced him.

“Ten, where are we? This is getting creepy as the road is…” you turned left and right, “completely silent.”

He bite his tongue while his eyebrows are creasing looking at the map on his smartphone. You know when he showed that expression there must be something fishy. “Ten!” you slapped his shoulder, making him jumped in a second. He sigh, “Uhm…well…” he trailed. “I think we are lost”.

He think? No, you both are totally lost!

You whined and stomped on your feet, “What are we going to do? You don’t know the street, neither am I…we’re both not locals..” He tried to calmed you down and put his arm around you. “Y/N, don’t be so pessimist, we’ll find the way okay?” he convinced you to keep walking until there is a sight of any human being near you, or at least a decent street lamps that does not keep on blinking.

 It is past 12am and you both still strolling in the unfamiliar crescent. The night is getting colder and you are not enjoying this adventure anymore. You just want to go back to the hotel and sleep but it seems that it will not happen any time soon. Suddenly, droplets of rain starting to fall from the sky. Just a few seconds after, the rain are pouring like cats and dogs. You grabbed your boyfriend’s hand and ready to sprint out from the bad weather. But, he did not budge. In fact, he closed his eyes; spreading out his arm and enjoying the rain. You are in a big mess already when you can feel your mascara are melting through the rain that has been hitting you continuously. “Hey, what the hell are you doing?!”

You shouted at him. Still, he is standing there. He surely know how to piss you off even in this circumstances. You are about to leave him there but then a pair of hands catches you, leading you into his arms. He started to waltz around the empty lane with you, under the rain, out of nowhere, in the abandoned city lights. Unconsciously, you are getting along with his silly action, appreciating the moment you are in. As you look up to him, a warm smile in the cold rain shines through him. How can he glows in this darkest night? You thought. “Feel better?” he asked you while caressing your frozen cheek. “Not if you kiss me under the rain, now” you demanded.

He laughed and you did too. In the strangest night, while both you are lost in the rain drizzle, he kisses you deeply. Well, lost does not always head to a bad episode, maybe it even create a beautiful memory.

Double the Birthdays, Double the Fun!

You and Sicheng walked together hand in hand down to the convenience store, since everybody back at the dorms had practically kicked you both out for the next two hours whilst ‘important preparations’ were made the convenience store was the first place you could think of going to. You looked at Sicheng, there was a small pout on his face making you giggle to yourself slightly.

“What?” He asked, looking around expecting something funny to be happening. You giggled again, his cuteness proving too much for you.

“Nothing you big baby.” You said with a smile as the both of you walked into the store. “Now what should we buy for our birthday feast?” 

“Ice cream! And chicken, pizza too~” You sighed, it was like taking a child shopping, he really was the true maknae.

“Anything else birthday boy? They did ask us to get food so we should get a lot, what else?”

He frowned in concentration then finally smiled, “It’s your birthday too Y/N, you decide. I’m fine with whatever you want.” You quickly hugged him then dragged him further into the shop.

By the time you guys were done it had already been an hour, with both of your indecisiveness and wanting to buy it all you had wasted quite a bit of time.

 “Sicheng I don’t think the money Taeyong gave us will be enough…” You sighed, already taking a few items out of the trolley. He stopped you, putting everything you took out back in, “I got this Y/N, don’t worry about it.” He said, taking out his card to pay the leftover chunk.

You both walked out the store, you only holding one bag as he insisted carrying the other three. “Are you sure you want to carry three? It’s your birthday too, we can both carry two!” You said hopefully but he shook his head. “Nope I’m fine Y/N~” 

After mindlessly walking around for an hour you both went back to the dorms where all the members were waiting. Sicheng placed the bags down at his feet then slowly opened the door. It was dark. 

Lights suddenly flashed and then “HAPPY BIRTHDAY WINWINIE AND Y/N!!!” echoed through the room. You both walked in in shock, sure you expected a surprise but not like this. Balloons with both of your ages on were floating around the room and banners were hung everywhere saying happy birthday and then the ship name they had given you.

You were close to tears as you looked around the room, your eyes landed on the members who were all wearing party hats. Haechan came up to you, putting a party hat on you and Renjun did the same for Sicheng.

“NOW LETS PARTY!!” Chenle screamed then turned the music on.

Taeyong and Johnny approached the both of you and took your bags, “Happy birthday guys, make sure to enjoy yourselves.” Taeyong said with a smile then went to the kitchen. “Yeah but not too much fun…kidding knock yourself out kids.” Johnny added making the both of you laugh.

“Come on Y/N lets dance!” Sicheng said cheerfully, dragging you towards where everyone else was dancing. 

You danced and sang for hours on end until finally Taeyong came in with the birthday cake. You noticed they had gotten a picture of you and Sicheng printed on top of the cake making you tear up slightly. Everyone began singing for the both of you, once they finished they told you both to make a wish before you blew out the candles. You did just that then with Sicheng by your side, you blew out the candles together.

Everyone cheered for you both so loudly that they didn’t hear Sicheng whisper, “Y/N. Lets spend every single one of our birthdays together, forever.”

“Y/N we’re going! You coming with? We might go out to eat.” A fellow female trainee said, she had become the one you were closest too out of the five of you.

You were going for a solo career however your manager offered you the chance to debut with four other girls, although it required another five months of training. You took the chance, hating the solitude of going solo, you missed having other girls around with you.

“I’m fine Eunjung, go on without me I’ll see you back at the dorms later!” You replied, wanting to take all frustrations by practicing.

She walked over to you with a sigh, patting your shoulder. “Are you alright?”

You smiled at her, taking a small glance at your reflections in the mirror. Eunjung was slightly smaller than you, she was the eldest out of the lot and treated you all like children. You loved that about her, you actually felt at home in her presence.

“I’m fine I just want to practice a little more, now go to the others they’re probably wondering where you are.”

She enveloped you in a hug then left you by yourself in the dance room.

You turned the music player back on, beginning to warm up when your phone went off. Mark. You opened the message, Y/N!! How are you? We should go out to eat!

You were about to answer it when someone opened the door to your practice room.

“Hyungs! I’m practicing in here!” The voice shouted, you knew instantly that it was Astro’s Sanha.

He walked in then froze at the sight of you, awkwardly you bowed to greet him since he was your senior.

Okay so I am literally in l o v e with Lucas okay

Like this guys is 18 year olds and hasn’t even debuted yet and is murdering us all

But anyways

Lucas would be a really cute yet just not cute at all boyfriend

You smashed every button your fingers could find, not wanting to lose to Haechan for the sixth time in a row. You took a small glance at him before gluing your eyes back on the screen, in that split second you could notice his features had formed into one of concentration. The other dream members cheered you on, them also not wanting to hear another Haechan’s winning speech again. Both of you were low on health and suddenly the room went quiet when you both were one hit away from losing, the only sound that could be heard was the both of you button mashing and dodging hits that came your way. That’s when you finally did it, you landed the finishing blow and the loud “K.O” filled the room. First it was silence, everyone tried to figure out what had actually just happened, then it was cheering. The boys sitting on the floor shot up, pulling you up with them as they all cheered, Haechan sat motionless, shock painted on his face.

Just as you were about to make your speech he got up suddenly and put an arm around you, dancing with you and congratulating you on your win. You were confused as to what he was doing until you saw Mark frowning in the door way. You both locked eyes and he shyly looked away, whatever it was before had clearly gone now as he looked back at you with a smile. “Mark I beat Haechan!” You yelled with excitement as you ran over to him, giving him a quick hug. “Don’t get too happy, I also beat you five times before that.” He said, Jeno rolled his eyes giving him him a quick punch in the arm. “Don’t show off you know you cheated.”

“Did not.”

“Did too.”

“Did-”

“Okay guys let’s shush a second, I’m hungry is anyone else hungry?” Renjun sighed, quickly changing the subject. There was murmurs of agreements and it was like all at once their stomachs had growled. Mark moved away from you and towards the kitchen, “Y/N I’ll go get you something so stay put!” And with that he disappeared, not even asking if you were hungry.

“Psst. Y/N.” Haechan tapped at you shoulder and his voice was hushed. “Haechan what now?” You asked, slightly frustrated yet slightly intrigued at the same time. He lifted his eyebrow with a smirk, a look you only knew that meant mischief. You too had a smirk on your face, feeling nothing but curiosity. “Let’s go to the other dorms and ditch these guys, it’s better there and Taeyong will actually make us good food…If we beg hard enough.” You nodded, giggling quietly. You loved it when Haechan proposed such ideals to you, you both were menaces when you put your minds to it. You have been since you were little, either terrorising each other or the other children at your school. You were a team and would always work together on your tricks and pranks, ever since you were little and still now to this day. “Oh I do love how you think, Taeyong adores me and I’ll just say dream never fed me!” He lifted up his hand for a high five but quickly shot it down when voices could be heard getting closer. He pulled you out the door by your arm, the both of you dashing frantically down the hallways.

Haechan lightly knocked on the door before letting himself in, announcing his arrival. You walked in, greeting Taeyong and the others. They soon went back to doing whatever they were doing before except from Taeyong who waited patiently for the two of you to take off your shoes, much like a mum would do. “Where are the others?” He asked, picking up your shoes and placing them in the cupboard. “They’re back at the dorms-” “Have you eaten?” Taeyong asked again, interrupting Haechan. You both shook your heads in unison, he let out a sigh and beckoned you both towards the kitchen. When his back was turned you and Haechan shared a look, smirking at each other.

You moved and sat at the dining table, Haechan took a seat next to you and you both stared intently at Taeyong. In a matter of minutes the kitchen filled with the smell of food and the sound of meat being fried, your stomach rumbled and you licked your lips at the thought of Taeyong’s cooking. “Oh Mark, when did you get here? Are you hungry too?” Taeyong suddenly said, snapping you out of your thoughts. Your eyes tore away from the cooking and found Mark standing in the doorway. You felt apologetic having let Haechan pull you into another prank, you could see the hint of sadness in his eyes that you could tell he was trying to mask making you feel even worse.

“No I’m fine…I actually just ate.” Liar. You knew he hadn’t, you knew when he was lying and he made it so obvious yet maybe it was only you who could tell since Taeyong shrugged it off. “Mark! Come sit here~” You motioned to the other seat next to you, you heard a slight grunt of disapproval from Haechan but you ignored it, not wanting to deal with him right now. Mark’s features lit up and he did as he was told, you shot him a smile, a smile that you reserve just for him, and he gave you one back, this time it was genuine.

“So Mark, and you too Y/N, graduation is just around the corner right? How many exams have you got left?” Taeyong sparked up a conversation to fill up the silence. “It’s only a couple weeks now, it doesn’t feel real!” You said, reminiscing the past years you had spent at school, the thought of it being over terrified you yet you couldn’t help but anticipate it. “Yeah it really doesn’t, and we have about two exams left right? Chemistry and physics I’m pretty sure.” You groaned, the two exams you were looking the least foward to, you hadn’t revised at all and instead had spent all your time procrastinating and hanging out here. Mark looked at you, slightly worried. He knows how much you hate physics, not to mention chemistry, he’s your science partner and you copying his answers or having a mental breakdown in class can make it pretty obvious. “Hey Y/N, have you been revising? Do you maybe want to-”

“OH MY I JUST REMEMBERED!” Haechan suddenly piped up, you had forgotten he was even sitting there. All three of you looked at him, waiting for whatever it was he was going to say. “Y/N do you remember when we were little and you’d cry whenever I left you alone at school!” You scoffed, shooting a look to both Mark and Taeyong when they laughed slightly. “Haechan that isn’t true and you know it!! You were the one that cried, it was always you.” He shrugged shaking his head. “Not how I remember it but okay.”

Just as you were about to say something in return a plate of food was placed in front of you, instantly snapping you out of your thoughts. “Oh Taeyong this looks delicious! Thank you for cooking for us.” He shook his head with a smile, undoing his apron and began to wash up. You dug in, feeling even hungrier than before. “Wow Y/N you pig.” You glared up at Haechan, noodles hanging from your mouth but you didn’t care. “Haechan you can’t say much, your stomach has no capacity you just eat and eat.” Mark said in your defence, you thanked him with your eyes since your mouth was still full to the rim with food. “Well I still eat, I’m just a hungry little boy leave me be.”

“Why are the kids arguing again?” Doyoung said, walking into the kitchen. Haechan continued eating and Mark sat with his arms crossed. “I don’t know but I’m sure they’ll both stop since they’re making the guest uncomfortable.” They paid no attention to Taeyong’s words and still sat in a strop. “Ahh Y/N-ie!! How are you? I haven’t seen you in so long you should hang out here more often forget the dreamies.” Doyoung gushed at you. “I’m good Doyoung! I might start to, I won’t get a meal like this over there.” They both laughed and you did with them, after your meal you helped clear up. Both Haechan and Mark had lightened up a little and helped you wash the remaining dishes although it turned into a bubble fight seconds after you started cleaning.

Taeyong walked in just as you threw bubbles at Haechan and he ducked, the bubbles landing all over Taeyong. “Oh no Taeyong I’m so sorry!! Haechan why did you duck!?!” He pulled a face at you in disbelief that you were actually blaming him for the situation. Taeyong walked towards to sink, supposedly towards the towel but to everyone’s surprise he scooped up bubbles and threw them at you all. It was full out war, you, Haechan and Mark versus Taeyong, Johnny and Jaehyun who had joined in after hearing your screams.

“Surrender you oldies!!” Haechan yelled, throwing over a bubble grenade. “Never!! Respect your elders you rebels!!” Johnny challenged, all three sending a series of bubbles flying through the air. “You respect your juniors!!” You hollered, a series of agreements coming from your side as bubbles were sent flying.

You weren’t even aware of the time until Doyoung came into the kitchen, a look of distaste smothered on his face as he looked around the bubble filled kitchen. He was holding a phone in his hand and you could only just make out the number. Oh shit…mum. You shot up from your crouched position and ran over to Doyoung. “Hey Y/N where are you going? You can’t just leave a war!” Jaehyun called after you and you stopped. “I have an even bigger war to fight now…The war of the mother, I may not get out of this alive, so just know I love every single one of you. Good bye.” A robotic voice echoed around the room, “I heard that Y/N, come home this minute!!” All of you cringed, you hung your head down and waved to the boys who looked scared for you. I really am dead this time.

You got home, standing outside the door for a while unwilling to face your mum. You placed your hand on the handle but the door suddenly opened and there stood your mum. She didn’t look as mad as you thought she would, although she did look very annoyed still. “Hi mum…” You said cheerfully, hoping it will make her happy too. She didn’t budge. Instead she moved slightly to the side to let you in. She pointed to the sofa in the living room and you sat down, your heart beating fast in fear. “What am I going to do with you Y/N?” You looked to the floor, waiting to hear what you did wrong although you were pretty sure you knew what it was already. You had forgotten to tell her you were going to the dorms. “Y/N I was worried sick. Why didn’t you tell me where you were? Your lucky I have Doyoung’s number, if I didn’t I don’t know what I would’ve done…” Bingo. You were right. “Look mum I’m sorry I know I should’ve told you but I was having fun and I forgot! I won’t ever do it again.” Her facial expression softened and you smiled in relief. “Okay, I trust you not too. You can go now.” You got up and hugged her before running towards the stairs. “Oh Y/N” she said just as you got through the door way. “You seem to be spending an awful lot of time at those dormitories.”

“Just call them dorms mum, and yes all the guys are really cool, Taeyong made me food! Plus we had a bubble fight and I totally kicked Haechan’s butt when playing games.” Her face seemed to light up even more at the mention of Haechan’s name. “Well that’s very nice of Taeyong, I’m just happy that you and Haechan get on so well still, it’s relieving for me and his mother.” You didn’t understand what she meant by that but she kissed you on the forehead making you forget what had even been said. “Now go get ready for bed, it’s getting late and you have school tomorrow.” You smiled with a nod of your head and turned to run your room.

You woke up the next morning and started to get ready for school. You took a look outside, it was bright out, not a cloud in the sky could be seen. Definitely not wearing a jacket today. You thought to yourself, avoiding the jacket hanging on the back of your door and walked out of your room, going downstairs to get some breakfast before you went. You had two slices of toast then went back upstairs to brush your teeth and get your bag before you went.

“Have a good day at school sweetie!” Your mum cooed, kissing your cheek and seeing you out of the door. “See you mum! Have a good day at work too~” She waved goodbye then shut the door when you got to the lift.

You walked through the school gates, only a few weeks left at this place until you had to go college and join the big world, the world of an adult. Your mum had been preparing you, telling you the ins and outs and to be honest, it sounded frightening. It didn’t help that everyone else around you seemed to have their whole life planned out whilst you still didn’t know what the hell you wanted to do with your life. “Y/N!!” You turned to see Haechan running towards you, his arms outstretched. You opened yours and embraced him in a warm hug, a greeting you’ve kept ever since you were little. Behind him Jeno and Jaemin, slightly less excited, walked towards you with a smile plastered on their face.

“Hey Y/N, how are you?”

“Y/N~ I missed you why did you leave us?”

You laughed at their pouts and ruffled their hair, only making them pout ten times harder. “They got bored of you all that’s why, the real question is, how was your mum? Surely it went well if you’re still alive.” You pushed him lightly, scowling at his harsh words. “No I love you guys, it was another of Haechan’s brilliant ideas that I went along with, sorry! But yeah my mum was chill about it, just a little upset how I didn’t tell her where I was, but fine.”

“It’s because you were with me, your mum loves me~”

“Correction. My mum has to love you because your mum is her best friend.” Jaemin and Jeno burst out laughing, their pouts transferring to Haechan’s face, you pinched his cheeks making baby noises when the bell for first period went. “Ah great, science.” You sighed, waving goodbye to the boys and walking inside the building. Usually you’d walk to class with Mark but you hadn’t seen him anywhere this morning, maybe he wasn’t coming to school today? You hoped he was coming, you wouldn’t be able to survive without him by your side.

You opened the door to class and thankfully Mark was sitting in his seat, staring impassively out of the window. You skipped towards your seat, ignoring the looks from the other students and stopped beside your seat. “Mark!” You said although it seemed as though he didn’t hear you. You took off your bag and sat down, admiring Mark’s side profile, he was very attractive but you knew it’d look weird if you kept staring for too long. You gently tapped his shoulder and giggled when he jumped, nearly falling out of his seat.

“O-oh Y/N, hey.” He still seemed spaced out making you quite concerned. “Mark is everything alright? I called your name a minute ago and you didn’t hear me, what’s up?” You asked, hoping it was nothing serious. “I’m fine… just worrying about the exams that’s all.” You smiled knowingly, you weren’t going to lie but you knew exactly what he meant. “Well do you maybe want to go on a study date. I-I mean like not date date but you know…” He chuckled at your flustered state and eventually nodded. “Yeah Y/N. I’d really love that.”

You sat on the edge of your bed, head in hands, tears rolling down your cheeks. It had been a little less than a year since leaving sm, since leaving Mark, leaving your group members. You felt bad but you regretted it, having fellow members was what you missed, now you were having to debut alone. Your new company said you had talent and it’d be a shame to lock it up, plus apparently the fans had missed you. You had said you wanted to debut with fellow girls but they told you that wasn’t possible, not for another three years. You didn’t want to wait that long, you wanted to show Mark and everyone else that doubted your decision to leave that your were doing just fine. But you weren’t.

You checked your phone and decided to message your parents, they didn’t know you were going on a music show tomorrow and now seemed like the perfect time to tell them. You sent the message then went to see the other comeback stages, scrolling through them you saw BTS had had a comeback, and Wanna One finally debuted. Then you saw something else. Something you were dreading would happen. Why has Mark got to be in every damn unit? NCT Dream were having a comeback. Their schedules were exactly lined up with yours too. Just your luck.

Mark had never stopped trying to message you, whether it be on his phone or through some other member. You had ignored all the ones from him not wanting to face him, you still hadn’t forgiven him and you never were. Although you couldn’t deny it, you missed him. The members would tell you how little sleep he was still getting, how he wouldn’t eat or drink, how the company were debating on putting him on hiatus until he’s back to normal. It hurt you, of course it did. As much as you hated to say it, you still loved him. It was frustrating, you so wanted to hate him after what he did but a piece of you couldn’t let go. It longed for his cuddles, his kisses, but you knew you’d never experience them. Never again.

You sighed, rubbing viciously at your eyes. You weren’t going to be weak, not anymore. You had to show your best performance tomorrow so you decided it was time for some much needed rest. You laid down, snuggling into the duvet and blocking out the world. For once you felt at peace, so close to happiness yet not quite there at all, but it was enough to let you get a good night’s sleep.

It had been a week since you had debuted, it was all going well. Your first performance you hadn’t expected any fan chants or any fans at all but the screams were immense and blew you away. Apparently all the fans from your prior group had followed you to your solo career and were 100% supportive of you, you nearly cried right there and then. But instead you used their screams as energy and put your all into your singing and dancing. You did that for the next week and to your surprise you had been nominated for number 1.

But to your dismay you were up against dream, meaning standing on the same stage as Mark, meaning standing right beside Mark. All you had wanted to do was avoid him, you had succeeded in your efforts so far but now there was no escaping it. You were hurried along corridors towards the main stage, slowly other idols were climbing up and soon it was your turn. You got up on the stage, dream were already there. All of them waved in your direction and you smiled, waving back at them. The only one who refused to acknowledge you was Mark, instead he stood there looking down at his feet and twiddling with his outfit. You tried not looking at him when you walked by and stood in your spot. It was nerve wracking, standing in front of all these people, but yet it was also thrilling. Your group had never been up for number 1 so it was a nice change, you could show them all you could make it.

You looked back towards Dream, they caught your gaze and made ‘fighting’ gestures, you smiled at them again then looked back towards your fans. Everyone was on stage now and they were just waiting for the cue to start. Your heart was beating fast and your breathing was quick, your palms were starting to sweat so you rubbed them against your jeans. You had never been this nervous before, it was exhilarating though. The MC finally spoke, the card with the winners name in his hand.

“Hello everyone! So here’s the long awaited moment, finding out number 1. We have NCT Dream with us today and Y/N who has only just debuted with her solo career! The best of luck to both of them now let me see…”

The fans screamed and cheered as the slip of paper left the envelope. You clutched your chest not able to take the suspense.

“And the winner is……..Y/N!!! Congratulations!!”

Confetti erupted around you and you heard your song booming through the speakers, the fans changed your name yet you couldn’t quite grasp what was going on. You had won? Is this some sort of joke? You took the trophy and flowers, looking at them in shock. You had done it. All by yourself. With no members. And only a small company to get you on.

You did your final stage, singing along whilst walking and shooting hearts towards the fans. It was amazing to be up here, holding your own trophy with the support of your own fans but soon the moment was over and you had to come off stage. As soon as you did you were attacked by Dream, all of them pulling you into a hug and saying their congratulations. All of them but Mark. You thanked them all and caught up for a while but you couldn’t help but notice Mark standing awkwardly not saying anything. The Dream members noticed it too and one by one they left you both alone, the both of you not wanting to be here.

“Right well…. I- I have to go…”

You said and turned to go back to your changing room, that was until you felt a hand grip onto your arm, a feeling that felt all too familiar.

“Y/N wait! I erm…I please stop don’t go.”

Deja Vu hit you like a truck. You had been in this exact position before, Mark looking at you with pain in his eyes his face looking torn. You could tell how much make up they had put on him to make him actually look healthy, to make him look normal. You pulled him into a hug, you couldn’t bare this anymore. You missed him, not just the kisses or the cuddles. You missed the closeness, him checking up on you 24/7 even if he was out with Haeun, even when you didn’t see him and he was probably out kissing her he still checked up on you. Listened to you vent, he was there when you needed him most. You didn’t want the relationship back and even if you had, it’d take a while for him to redeem himself, to prove himself. But you wanted the friendship back, after all you hadn’t only lost your boyfriend, but your best friend also.

He was hesitant at first, probably expecting you to pull away and catch yourself, but you didn’t. He pulled you close and buried his head into your shoulder. It began to felt damp and you knew he was crying, you hadn’t noticed but you were crying too. You were both a mess and were attracting weird stares but neither of you cared. You were just happy to be in each others arms again. He pulled away first and looked you in the eyes, they were apologetic and full if guilt, it made your tears run even faster. He lifted a hand and wiped away your tears faking a small smile.

“Y/N stop crying~”

He said and you hated that it worked, you sniffled and rubbed away the excess tears. Your breathing was shallow and you willed yourself not to cry anymore, after all it might give him the wrong idea.

“Y/N…I’m so so so sorry I hurt you, I was wrong and please, I’m begging you, let me make it up to you. I’m not saying take me back but please talk to me, I- I want my best friend back at least. I miss you Y/N so please, please…”

He started to cry again and now it was your turn to wipe away his tears, laughing quietly at his cuteness. How you missed his smile, the way his eyes brighten up but how you hated how torn he looked.

“Mark stop don’t stress yourself… I was thinking the same thing actually, maybe we can try again. The friend thing I mean! I- I missed you too Mark but you know it’s going take a while, you know after what you did… It’s going to take time and-”

“Oh now Y/N I know! What I did shouldn’t be forgivable and I’m truly sorry… so the friend thing, is a go? We’re friends again right?”

“Yes, we’re friends again! I’ll unblock your number now actually…”

“FINALLY MARK HAS BEEN MOPING FOR SO LONG!!”

Haechan said as the rest of Dream followed him to where you and Mark were.

“W-were you guys listening to our conversation?”

Mark said and the Dream boys nodded, he looked down out of embarrassment but all you could do was smile. It was just like old times, the times you had grown to miss. But now they were all coming back to you, and maybe your life was going to look up after all. One small gradual step at a time.

“Mark how is this even up for discussion? Y/N is mine. It’s so obvious that I’m the only one in her heart, there’s no room for you.”

I frowned at his words, after everything Y/N had told me it didn’t seem like this was possible. I hate how cocky Haechan looks, like he knows that he’s right but he most definitely isn’t. The girl is mine.

“I don’t understand the way you think, saying she’s yours not mine. You know how many dates we’ve gone on? You’re just wasting your time Haechan, let hyung handle this one.”

He burst out in laughter at my words, this all seemed pathetic. Two best friends fighting over one girl but I can’t let him think he’s winning her over, that way he’ll only be disappointed when she’s dating me not him.

“You know ever since I met her she’s been walking right into my dreams without fail? Because she’s mine, that girl is mine. And you know we both can’t have her so you’re going to have to accept that she’s my girl forever and ever.”

“But I love her more than you do, that is just an obvious fact bro.”

“But I love her endlessly!”

I groan in frustration, running a hand through my hair. We aren’t getting anywhere, if anything we are getting further and further away from deciding who gets Y/N. It was beginning to annoy me how stubborn he was being, why can’t he just let it be?

“Haechan you know she said I blow her mind? And I know for a fact she’ll tell you I’m the one for her. Do you know why? Because the damn girl is mine!”

He has smugness written all over his face, he knows such short answers are going to annoy me but I won’t allow it to get to me, I’m not losing a best friend over this.

“Look Haechan I’m not going to fight about this okay? She told me I’m her forever lover, don’t you remember?”

“Yeah well after a date with me she said she could never love another~“

I stare at him in disbelief, she couldn’t have said that…right?

“S-she said that?”

The shock was evident in my voice making Haechan smirk. Again.

“Yes she did so just keep dreaming Mark but know at the end of the day, this girl is mine. There’s no denying it anymore.”

I was just about to open my mouth when there was a slight knock at the bedroom door. We both shut up, silently telling whoever was outside to come in. They opened the door cautiously, shit Y/N…how long was she standing there…

“Is everything alright in here? The other guys said you two had been in here forever now…everything okay?”

We both put on fake smiles and nodded over dramatically. Her worried expression lightened up and I couldn’t help but stare. She’s so beautiful and her smile, oh her smile. It’s the smile of a thousand suns, an imagine of pureness. Whilst I was busy bathing in her radiance Haechan ran up to her, looping an arm around her neck.

“Let’s not keep the others waiting then! Sorry to worry you Y/N~”

He said in his aegyo voice, making her giggle although he wasn’t actually looking at her but at me, mischief dancing in his eyes. I smirk back and walked towards Y/N my smile wide. I put my arm around her and pulled her away from Haechan, he looked at me in shock but my smile never faded.

“Yeah Y/N let’s go!”

She looked at us both, she didn’t seem at all convinced.

“You guys are acting weird. More weirder than usual…Are you sure everything’s alright?”

“Yup everything’s fine! Right Haechan?”

He let out a grunt of agreement as he stood there empty handed. I locked eyes with him, we both had the same expression on and I knew it. Determination. I had won this battle but this was war now, there was plenty more to come. But for now I welled in my victory and mouthed ‘mine’ before turning towards Y/N again who was still oblivious to the whole thing.

“Come on let’s go! We don’t want the guys to worry why you’re gone for so long either~”

She frowned once more then shook it off, deciding it was nothing. She smiled at me and then at Haechan, stretching out her hand towards him. He gladly took it and smirked mouthing a ‘yours?’ and laughing with his eyes. I rolled mine and walked foward. I still definitely won. I unconciously tightened my grip on Y/N just to be sure though.

NCT Dream Reacting to You Getting Excited When You See a Dog

Okay so you two would be walking hand in hand to the library to get some last minute studying in before the test you both had. You’d be talking about anything when you saw it. The cute little fluffy puppy coming right towards you. You couldn’t resist the urge to pet the small creatures fur and ran off towards the dog, leaving Mark standing quite shocked at the loss of your hand. He’d walk over to you and would stand beside you, smiling down at you. All he can think of is how cute you are, I mean look at you literally squealing over a little puppy. When the owner and dog left the smile on his face never did, he looked at you in adoration and couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have such a cute girlfriend.

You two would be on a much needed shopping trip, aka Renjun finally had a day free and you really needed to go shopping and of course he wanted to tag along since he hadn’t seen you in forever. And just as you were about to step into the shop guess what you saw in the corner of your eye… the cutest little huskey puppy you had literally ever seen. You ran off, dragging Renjun with you, and started to coo at the puppy and asking the owner all sorts of questions. Tbh Renjun was just as in love with the puppy and started stroking it with you yet he couldn’t quite stop the little giggling fit he was suffering with. He tried to make out that it was because of how cute the dog was but once the owner left he exhaled and started saying you were too cute and he couldn’t handle two cute things in one place. This caused the both of you to be in a giggle fit.

‘Yahh~ you were so much cuter than that puppy I thought I was going to die.’

Honestly you don’t know who’s more excited about seeing the dog, you or him? You both were sitting on a bench enjoying ice cream when a young girl around your age walked by with a little Yorkshire Terrier on tow. You couldn’t help but squeal and jump from the bench, making your way towards the girl and her puppy. To your surprise Jeno was right beside you making heart eyes at the dog, you both approached the girl and unlike you who went for the ‘I’m not here to talk to you I just want the puppy’ approach, Jeno bowed to the girl and spoke to her for a while. It was like he was totally unphased by the dog like he was just seconds before, but you thought too soon as he crouched down beside you and started talking in a cute voice at the puppy. You did the same and you must’ve looked like a couple of weirdos but you didn’t care! 

‘Hello little puppy~ I’m Jeno and this is Y/N! Isn’t she cute? I think she’s even cuter than you!’

You decided to visit one of his sets to surprise him but instead it was you who was surprised by the small bundle of fluff sitting near the entrance in a basket. You never even got to see Haechan as you were too busy playing with the ‘puppy’. He was told you had come to see him and you were by the entrance so instead it was him coming to find you, when he  saw you playing with the dog he took a second to comprehend the cuteness that was you. He turned up beside you and you started apologising and saying you were distracted by the puppy, at first he just stared at you like it’s quite clear this dog is way past its puppy years. But to you all dogs were puppies no matter the age or size. He shook it off and you both were playing with the puppy, you talking to it and Haechan getting up and dancing for it. It was a cute yet weird sight but no one questioned either of you, no instead they filmed you for future blackmail usage.

‘The dog is like a hundred years old Y/N but you’re right, it’s the cutest!’

You both were waiting outside of the school for Jeno to finish his after school club. As you stood there an elderly man walked past walking quite an engergetic Jack Russel, you tugged at Jaemin’s sleeve as you saw it walking towards you both was saying how cute it was. Jaemin couldn’t help but laugh at how cute you in fact were. When it finally reached you you greeted the man and politely asked if you could pet the dog, he let you and once you bent down you were attacked by a series of licks to the face. You giggled as the small dog continued the onslaught and you could hear Jaemin laugh beside you letting out little exclamations of how adorable the whole situation was. Once the man left and you got up he pulled you into a hug, catching you off guard. He then kissed you on the cheek, nose then forehead and saying that he never thought he’d be jealous of a small dog like that~

‘Hey! Puppy that’s my girlfriend~’

You and Chenle decided to take a visit to the 127 dorms when there was an unexpected visitor. Taeyong had taken his dog Roby to the dorms that day and as soon as you laid your eyes on the small dog you lunged foward towards it, bending down and throwing out a bunch of sounds that you swore sounded cute. The other members laughed around, even Chenle couldn’t help but release the dolphin back to the ocean I’m sorry I love saying that. To your surprise Roby jumped up at you, causing you to fall back onto your butt. You pouted at the dog wondering what on earth you had done to make it do that but your attention switched from the dog to Chenle. He was on the floor crying from laughter and was clutching his stomach whilst he rolled about. You insisted it wasn’t funny but if anything that made it funnier for him. When he stopped laughing though all he could say was how cute and clumsy you are.

‘You just got taken down by a small fluffy dog!’

So I’m pretty sure Jisung still plays pokemon go so it should be relevant

You and Jisung walked through the park looking for good pokemon spots for him. He was staring down at his phone as he walked alongside you and you were slowly getting bored, that was until a Corgi came bounding towards you. You exclaimed Jisung’s name and he jumped in surprise, nearly dropping his phone in the process. When he looks over at you you were laying on the ground with a dog snuggling into your side. He beamed at how adorable this sight was and immediately forgave you for scaring the life out of him and nearly making him drop his phone. He sat next to where you were laying down with the dog and gently petted its head whilst smiling at you. Soon the owner came over to apologise but he quietly told them it was fine and watched as the dog rushed off after its owner. Ever since that day he begs Taeyong for a dog everyday without fail.

‘Okay but please help me secretly adopt a dog and keep it in the dorms, you can snuggle it whenever you like!’

Okay I’m recently experiencing Chenle’s lane and I’m swerving hard time

So this should be interesting

He laughs at just about anything like that’s a well known fact

So anything you say, even if it was a terrible joke, you can always expect a reaction out of this guy

And just him laughing makes everyone else laugh and your terrible joke is forgotten

Also whenever you giggle or laugh or even just smile he bursts out laughing

When you ask why he just says that your so cute or that you’re adorable

Side note, being called cute is a daily thing, it’s like an exclamation that’s suddenly registered into his brain for when you do literally anything

Whatever it is it was sure as hell cute okay?

He also is your biggest fan

And I mean biggest fan

You both do your homework together and he concentrates on cheering you on more than the actual homework itself

And then you could be simply eating a burger or something and he starts screeching that you can defeat it

And he’d get very salty if someone told him to quieten down

He’d say something like “but Y/N is eating a burger and I need to cheer her on so your quieten down, you’re interrupting me.”

Cut to him getting caught in a headlock

Still let’s out strangled cheers even when he’s on his death bed

When he’s not being your number one fan or being murdered his clinging onto you like a koala

Like literally clinging to your side like your a tree or something

He gets especially clingy when you’re talking to the other members

Like you and Haechan could be talking then suddenly you have Chenle clinging to your side like it’s the last time he’s ever going to see you

You and haechan give each other that look, the look that says “please help me” and “nope he’s all yours.” And he leaves right after

The only time he doesn’t do that is when your speaking to Jisung

That time he clings onto Jisung and it’s a nice change, which is why you tend to talk to Jisung more

Also Chenle doesn’t really care about cuddling or hugging or whatever in front of his members

Like they think it’s cute anyway, in front of the older ones he may be slightly cautious gotta look out for mothers Taeyong and Doyoung

But he’d eventually just cuddle with you when they’re there

The one thing he wouldn’t do is kissing though, he’s not usually the one that gets teased but he knows that’ll change if he kissed you in front of them

He can’t risk his presidency image

Your like an extra member of dream, the behind the scenes member

He tries to invite backstage whenever you’re allowed and you go over their lyrics and their dance moves

You’re basically the little/big sibling they wish they had

And you’ll give them pep talks and cheer them by the side lines

After they’re done you’d congratulate them all, passing out water and snacks whilst telling everyone they did such a good job

It really puts a smile on chenles face when he sees how well you get on with his members

And the members are also proud that Chenle found a significant lover like you

They wouldn’t want anything but the best for him and you’re just that, even better

He teases you sometimes sure but it’s all out of love

And if anyone else dared to tease you then they’d be asking for it, Chenle would go in on them

And its really amusing to see how scary Chenle can be sometimes

But not matter how much he may tease you or laugh and point at you, he loves you

Just the way you are.
