School is right around the corner

I have to stop procrastinating on my summer assignments so I’m halting progress on Orocha to get  other assignments and contest entries done. In my spare time I’ll finish working on the dialogue and BGs.

Arashi Kirarei; certfied poltergeist. He died under strange circumstances and lingers at Orocha.

I’ll finish the sketch and post a colored version of her up here soon, I’m just sketching out the rest of the characters.

I made the Orocha tea house in sketchup. It took me all of 4 hours, but I got it done! I’m going to go back in and add the rose garden and koi pond.

Orocha

I had planned to release Autrenasia last Halloween, but my plans just didn’t work out. Then I started work on Misifit and at this point, both those games have become a chore. So this Halloween I’m going to take a breather form Autrenasia and Misfit to release Orocha. I want to see how long it takes me to release a simple dating sim with my full focus latched on it. So far I have gotten through character designs, game play, endings, shops/gifts, and some dialogue within the past week. I’m estimating I should actually complete the game by the end of August. If I do then I get started on a winter themed dating sim. 

Orocha is a Halloween dating sim that takes place at a haunted teahouse. The protagonist Koumori and her friend Usui take on a 30 day challenge to investigate Orocha Tea House. While there they uncover the mystery of the Last Arashi’s death.
