The Fake State

Often, North Dakota is thought to be a fake state. "Are there still cowboys and indians there?" "Like the movie?" "You mean South Dakota?" I like that North Dakota is like Narnia.

For a couple days from around 7a to 5ish pm these trucks are hauling in clay sand and gravel for along River Drive in south Fargo. So many houses are gone….

We moved out of this house, out of that town years ago. I haven't seen it in about 16years. Its strange to see some things the same and some very different. I can picture myself walking around in a parallel life time of the past. Some of the worst things/times that ever happened to me were in this house.

I learned to snow board on this hill around 12 yrs old. We lived in that white house.

I grew up most exploring these areas. Played with a lot of fire and explosive in them there trees. I remember chasing shadows and making dreams, never wanting to return home.
