TIME FLOWS EVER ONWARD

Synopsis

There was a reason why Nanami did not take on apprentices. They required time, proper training, and a nerve of steel to head anywhere he required of them. They died far too easily, and for a mage who had seen his fair share of premature deaths, he’d had enough. Simply offloading an apprentice on him as a result of an end-of-life crisis wouldn’t cut it.

But when his longtime friend and former party member, Ieiri, asked him for a favor to unlock the secrets of a grimoire on immortality, he saw no reason to refuse. And if she happened to ask him to look after Megumi in the meantime—well. Even he could be fooled once in a while.
