Inspired by the secret life of raindrops

The secret life of conversation

  Words often escape our thoughts in a moment. But have they perhaps escaped our mouths only to wonder looking for an ear to land upon. Are we often speaking it’s just no one is listening. As soon as I state an emotion those very words, descriptions, and motivations battle in a secret world where they simply want to land on the hearts they were meant to touch. Is miscommunication due to a secret world of dying words, meaningless babble, or forgotten apologies? Do we simply not understand one another because our words are not ready for the battle before them? I pray that my words stand up to the challenge of bringing my emotions to light and my heart to action. May my words be the example of what my movements will be and may they find rest after such battles upon hearts of flesh and eager ears.

  The battles our words must find in the midst of their journey home are clearly a secret until once they’re misunderstood by the intended recipient. And if that happens I mourn the words who never made it home.  So I’ll say it again.

  I am that I am by the grace of God.

I can't believe how blessed I am to serve this amazing family. Avery is a delightful little girl and it's only because of her two parents that she is so joyful. God has blessed me so much. I can't wait to see this little Einstein again. (at Los Angeles)

1 year ago today I started a new adventure with this amazing Man of God. I can't wait to get home and love this man for the rest of my life. LA is awesome but LA is nothing compared to a life with him, and I can't explain how thankful I am to know him and know he loves me with a love I've never deserved. We've made it through it all and I'm excited for the next chapter. Thank you Father for teaching me to be loved and love through this relationship. All for the glory of your son and my savior Jesus Christ.
