"I can most certainly hope not. Iâve got quite the growing readership these days â I can only imagine the riots that would come out of silencing me now." Arrogant? Perhaps so, but Rita was nothing if not confident in her own growing fame. Especially so these days, with people nipping at her heels for so much as a little mention. "Mm, Iâm undecided yet whose nameâs to come up. Things have been quite quiet as of late, surprisingly. Even that Antonin Dolohov has kept somewhat to himself. Knock on wood, of course; I wouldnât wish for terrible things to happen, that would be in horrible taste, but itâs quite⊠boring, at the Prophet, when so little is ongoing."
Narcissa could do no more than give a polite laugh at Rita's words, one hand moving to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear as the blonde attempted to decide whether or not the elder woman's arrogance was dignified or not. In the end, Narcissa decided it was very much a case of half an half; after all, the woman was certainly a talented writer, but could such a large amount of confidence ever really be justified? "I realise it makes your job awfully dull, but I myself am rather enjoying the peace and quiet.. It makes a pleasant change."
