Black tumblr is a mess sometimes...

It’s depressing cause when you think about it, a lot of ppl are only “woke” in a superficial way. It’s actually more to being “woke” than knowing our real history and how oppression works and always recognizing racism/other isms and saying all the right things etc.

You’re not woke if you don’t think critically for yourself about your own experiences. Your mind ain’t free if you feel the need to bring white ppl into something when they actually not involved. You can be conscious all the time without being in “activist mode” all the time and tryna fight with somebody when you disagree. Dont beef with our own ppl.

So many ppl just recycling they anger and pain but that hurts you. Sometimes you gotta let it go. I know they hurt you. They hurt me too. But in our fervor with our consciousness and our struggle we always gotta make sure we not hurting ourselves.
