5 Reasons why Cold Processed Handmade Soaps are More expensive.
Use of High Food Grade Oils
At Neemli Natural’s, we make our cold processed soaps with the best ingredients we can find. It’s definitely not cheap but it does make a serious difference. Our base oils are good enough to eat, that does not mean you eat it, but they are food grade quality.
Creamy Lather
The creamy lather from the use of plant oils and butters helps in deep moisturization, which subsequently help to minimise dry itchy skin. Dryness is a huge problem with mass produced melt and pour soaps you find in the market.
Natural Process
Cold processed soaps take handwork and patience, each log of soap takes 45 days to mature before they are packed and sent out to customers. This process is ideal to preserve the benefits of plant derived butters and oils.
Use of Essential Oils
Fragrance is a must, especially in bath and beauty products. There are two ways of infusing fragrance into soaps, artificially or through naturals processes. At Neemli Naturals all soaps are scented naturally with essential oils. This technique is definitely more expensive, but ensures the purity of the product. The fragrance is much more subtle as compared to the artifitial fragrance, but atleast at the end of the day you are getting truly natural product which unsynthesised with artificial enhancers.
No use of SLS
SLS is an abbreviation for Sodium Laureth Sulphate - a harsh detergant usually very abbrasive in nature and used in most melt and pour bases. Most soaps that you see in the market sold on mass scale are detergents, with SLS and many other very harsh chemicals that are only meant for visual appeal, fragrance and texture, completely ignoring the harsh effects they have on the skin.
