"Alright," he gives a curt nod, "it’s a deal. Now we just need to find people to bug, right?" He was confident Rock would have no problems making friends once he got in there. His playful nature was endearing- or it was to Blues at the very least.

"Right. It can't be too hard to find someone new and bug them...I mean they're everywhere, we just have to pick them out." Rock knew Blues wouldn't have any trouble finding someone and talking to them, he seems so comfortable in conversation with others. He was a bit worried how he'd manage but shy or not he will find someone new and talk to them.

…oh, hey.

"Words are easy, in my opinion. They always have been. It’s when it comes down to action that there’s a challenge," he smiles again. "…but that doesn’t mean you’re getting out of socializing. Go nudge someone new, okay? Just one person."

Rock folds his ears giving Blues a pouting look. "Alright....I'll find someone new and talk to them. But the next time I talk with you I want to know you got to know some new people too." It was silly letting Blues tell him what to do....but he learned to trust him and respects his opinion.

"You think so? I always just kind of say what comes to mind," he admitted with a chuckle. "…but I guess I empathize well with a lot of the people we know. They’re not hard to understand. Not really."

"Yeah, you seem to have a very easy time talking to others. They're not hard to understand....it's just what to say in response to them that's the hard part."

"Not really, I’ve been kind of… indisposed. Shut down, I think. But I’m working on it, apparently just coming online is a good excuse for people to say hello."

Rock smiles at this. "Well that's not surprising... You always did seem to be good with talking to people. You know what to say to others."

"Riiight. You know Rock, I’m not going to force you to talk to any of them, but there’s no fun in being an observer your entire life either. Just something to think about.”

"I know...." He pouts up at Blues. "I can't make new friends just by watching them or ignoring them. What about you? Have you met any of the new people?"

…oh, hey.

"When is that not a casual thing for me anymore?" Blues asks jokingly. "…really I have no idea what happened, but I’ll deal with that." His smile fads to a more neutral expression. "So does that mean you’re making friends, or being too shy to say hello?"

Rock was a bit worried to hear that something might have happened to Blues but he believes him when he says he'll figure it out. His ears perk at the unexpected question." Oh um...." Rock fidgets with his hands. "I haven't really said hello to any of em, no...." He smiles a bit nervously at Blues.

"I was sort of dead, or something. Who knows." He offers up a casual shrug, but there’s a smile with it.

"It’s great to see you though."

Rocks eyes widen at Blues a moment. "Well you seem rather casual about that!" He says in surprise though he lightens up to return the smile with one of his own. "It's great to see you too. I haven't really been seeing too many people I used to talk to lately though I've seen a lot of new faces." Seen them but hadn't talked to them that is.

"Hey Blues. I haven't seen you around in a long time." He himself hadn't been around in a long time either. He sort of fails to mention he doesn't get the chance to go seeing friends but once in a while.

His cheeks glowing with a dark pink blush he fears for a second Marcus would react differently than how he hoped, that fear was put to rest though the moment he feels Marcus's hand rub against his cheek.

Softly nuzzling his face into Marcus's hand he gives a shy smile followed by a small nod in agreement. "M-Mmhm..."

Rock wasn't entirely sure what brought on the sudden affectionate behavior towards his friend....but he wasn't regretting it.

Really, that long…? Well, she can’t blame him. It really was a long time and she’d think the same.

She has to make sure that Rock hasn’t fogotten about the Maverick. Though separated from Sophie, it’s still a major threat.

Wonderful, the petting is working! She’s glad that there’s still quite a bit of cat in her dear friend.

"Ah, there’s no need to compare your life to mine! You weren’t raised in a world ruled by one human and completely destroyed by them, now were you? Of course our major events would be different from each other!"

She hugs right back, going so far as to hug with her tail too because why not? It’s certianly flexible enough to!
