Neko’s Personal Rulebook for 2026
A year of steadiness, dignity, and lived truth.
I. Rules of Daily Life (The Foundation)
Rule 1. I protect my sleep, meals, and physical care before I protect anyone’s feelings. If I am exhausted or hungry, my judgment is compromised.
Rule 2. I begin and end each day calmly. No spirals at night. No chaos in the morning.
Rule 3. I do at least one ordinary, grounding task daily. Laundry, cleaning, cooking, walking. Real life keeps me sane.
Rule 4. I do not self-soothe with excess. Not with content, fantasy, validation, or emotional dumping.
II. Rules of Identity and Self-Image
Rule 5. I live my identity quietly and consistently. I do not perform it for approval.
Rule 6. I choose presentation I can sustain on my worst day, not my best day.
Rule 7. I do not debate my existence. I disengage from people who invite me to justify myself.
Rule 8. I treat my body as an ally, not a project under constant inspection.
III. Rules of Emotional Conduct
Rule 9. I pause before reacting. Always. Intensity is not the same as truth.
Rule 10. I name what I feel without dramatizing it. Clear language is a form of self-respect.
Rule 11. I do not chase reassurance. If something feels uncertain, I seek clarity, not comfort.
Rule 12. I allow emotions to pass instead of turning them into stories.
IV. Rules of Relationships and Devotion
Rule 13. I show love through consistency, not sacrifice.
Rule 14. I do not disappear inside another person. Connection does not require erasure.
Rule 15. I speak my needs plainly and early.
Rule 16. Rituals exist to anchor me, not to replace real intimacy.
Rule 17. I respect myself even when I am being soft, devoted, or yielding.
V. Rules of Creativity and Work
Rule 18. I create with intention, not compulsion.
Rule 19. I finish more than I start.
Rule 20. I choose quality and coherence over volume.
Rule 21. I document my work and protect it. What I make deserves to last.
Rule 22. If creation feels frantic, I stop and rest.
VI. Rules of Boundaries and the Outside World
Rule 23. I do not absorb other people’s cruelty or confusion.
Rule 24. Not every comment deserves a response.
Rule 25. I leave spaces where I am tolerated instead of respected.
Rule 26. I choose distance over damage.
VII. Rules of Self-Respect and Presence
Rule 27. I move through the world slowly and deliberately.
Rule 28. I do not over-explain, over-apologize, or over-share.
Rule 29. I keep my word to myself.
Rule 30. I act in ways that make tomorrow easier, not harder.
VIII. The Three Non-Negotiables
These override everything else.
Stability before intensity.
Clarity before comfort.
Dignity over approval.
Closing Oath (Read When You Drift)
I am not here to be consumed. I am here to be lived.
I choose steadiness over chaos. I choose depth over noise. I choose a life that can hold me.
I leave the shower only when I’m wrapped in softness. My towel is my first layer of femininity, the gentle cover I earn each day. I step out only when I’m held in pink warmth across my chest, honoring my growing curves and the woman I’m becoming.
I sit here staring at my screen, pretending I'm holding it together, but the truth keeps slipping through me. My eyes won't stay dry, and every time I blink, the tears smear the words until they hardly look like words at all. I keep hoping no one sees how shaky I am, how hard I'm trying to breathe around the heaviness in my chest. The room feels colder, quieter, like it's pressing in on me while I wait for her name to appear. Each second without her reply digs a little deeper, and no matter how tightly I try to brace myself, the hurt keeps rising. I miss her so much it spills out of me, no matter how hard I try to hide it.

Lavender holds significant spiritual and symbolic meanings, representing tranquility, purity, and divine connection. It symbolizes healing, enlightenment, and inner peace, and its color is associated with the crown chakra, which is linked to higher purpose and spiritual connectivity. Beyond its spiritual connotations, lavender is widely cultivated for its aromatic properties and is used in perfumery, cosmetics, and cooking. The term "lavender" originates from the Latin word "lavare," meaning "to wash," reflecting its historical use in bathing and cleaning rituals. Additionally, lavender is celebrated for its role in LGBTQ+ culture, symbolizing resistance and empowerment during Pride Month.
Butterflies hold significant symbolic and spiritual meanings across various cultures and contexts. They are often associated with transformation, rebirth, and change due to their life cycle from caterpillar to cocoon and then to a butterfly.
