GUNDAM (via *kazuna*)
The bronze doors of the entry (23â high, 20' wide) are held fast by huge iron chains, and all cracks are sealed with soft iron. Graven upon these massive valves are runes. You note that the writing glows and seems to burn with silvery radiance, making your eyes teary.
The Temple of Elemental Evil, module T1-4 by Gary Gygax and Frank Mentzer, TSR, 1985. This unsigned illustration probably is by âJack Fred,â Larry Elmore and Jeff Easleyâs pseudonym for their contributions to this module. Gygax probably contributed the archaic term âvalveâ to mean âdouble doorsâ as he did in module G3: The Hall of the Fire Giant King.
