Manila-Laiya
//Manila-Laiya //May 28, 2011 //150Kms Decided to ride to Laiya Batangas for our Family Outing. ETD Mandaluyong: 3AM Just have minor stops until I reached Tanauan Laguna for breakfast. @Rosario Batangas, I saw the sign for Batangas Racing Circuit and decided to visit the place. I asked one resident if it's just near and he said that it's just around the corner - but I forgot, in provinces, anything is just around the corner ;) I was thrilled when I saw a fence and a track next to it. But I don't hear any screech or rumbling cars. Well I guess it's not a track day, or we may say that it's because of the recent accident happened on the track. I want to go down the track and try it with my bike, but they didn't permit me. I just asked the caretaker if there's a shortcut to San Juan and told me just go ahead until you reach the dead end, that's the national highway. Just 15 Kms away from Laiya, I got a flat tire and delayed my ride a few minutes. When I reached hugom, I wasn't able to notice the resort's name so I got to the end of the road near La Luz, the Jump off for Mt. Daguldol. I called my cousin and told me that I already passed the resort. I turned back and luckily stopped near the Resort's Sign board. Finally I reached my destination and my Distance Meter Clocked @ 150.52 Kms ETA Laiya: 10AM With Saddle Time of 6:08 and Trip Time of more or less 7 Hours ;) Enjoyed the beach with few drinks and the book "Suplado Tips" Enjoyed the weekend with my Family ;)
