One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.

Ok yes! Good because it has one of the sweetest Noel povs ever and a Liam who is so thrilled and excited but actually still nervous and unsure. Like the love in that story is so all powerful and encompassing but they still can't communicate properly! Perfection! And I love how the author has all these little moments of flashbacks for Noel like he's always always thinking about the past and what Liam was like and what Noel himself was like and compared to now. I just think it's so good because Noel is our number one nostalgia denier "always looking forward" but it's so clear it's because he's fighting this battle with himself that can't help but think about or ruminate on the past (for good or ill). So yeah. One of my favourite series it needs so much love
