working on new blog!!
due to me moving to another province on saturday, my days are a bit (quite) busy, seeing as i need to see a few people before i leave (as i may not come back to my province for a long long time) so between the packing and the hanging out with dear ones, I probably will be slow with replies and how active I am. sorry!!
"Ew, Lexy, that's cringe-worthy!" Dacy's response was more reflexive & defensive than anything, but what was most concerning about his reactions to the other's words was the faint pink creeping into his cheeks. Idly, he rubbed his palms against them, while listening to the Red Clansman speak. "Oh. So you're a thing? Okay, alright. I still don't trust the guy, but that's... that's something. Not sure what kinda something, but probably a good one."
“I know.” He grinned widely, before chuckling and giving his best friend’s a gentle squeeze around his shoulders. It was nice to see the other act like so, in a way - and althoughg he still was worried about this person Dacy was dating, he found it comforting to know it brought nice feelings into the strain’s heart. “Yeah, we are. That’s fine, though - I don’t trust your guy either. Guess we’re gonna have to meet, or else I’m gonna worry too much. You know how I can get.”
Dacy only pulled a grimace in response. Of course Alexis was right with that assumption. "That kinda thrill's really weird, though. I only now realize how fucked up I really am when it comes to this kinda thing. I feel like a kid learning new things, how ridiculous is that? I had to ask him if I needed to ask for permission to touch him because I legitimately can't deal with how different this is." Again, he sighed. "How are things for you, though?"
“It is weird. You’re not a kid, but learning still is fine, y’know. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. Th’guy wouldn’t be going out with you if he didn’t love you for who you are, so there’s no need to try, I think.” Humming lightly, he gazed down at his best friend, before giving a soft smile. It was somehow refreshing, to have Dacy ask this question without evident bitterness. “Things are going good. We’re official, now, s’been a week or so. I kind of... talked with him about how fucked up I can be, and he didn’t seem to judge too much. I’m happy ‘bout that, it was making me really fucking anxious.”
“Kinda wanna eat a Gari Gari Kun, kinda wanna get laid.”
tell me the time where you are and what you’re thinking
why is working on a blog taking so loooooong
"... I think I would've liked you scolding me better," Dacy replied dryly, but despite his words, his lips formed a small smile. "Not sure about the snapping out of it part... I'm fucking terrified." Another fact that wasn't the easiest to admit. "It's all... different than it was with... you know who, but I'm still so scared of all of this, I barely know what to do with myself." With a sigh, he leaned further against Alexis. "Yes, you'll be the first to know if he hurts me."
“Knowing you, you already scolded yourself more than I could. You don’t need someone else telling you stuff you already know. I trust you to make the right decisions, anyway.” “I think it’s normal to be scared. I’m fucking terrified, too, I’ll let you know. But it’s part of the thrill, isn’t it? Just go with it, Dace.”
camp is over and now ive got nothing else to do than to pack for montreal and to rp, but if im a tad slow its because im working on my new blog. sorry!
Sulking for days. National sport.
The poet should have seen all of these questions coming, but they still took him by surprise. Blinking at Alexis, he was rendered speechless, before he realized that he had done the exact same, safe for different wording -- so this was what that felt like. "... nobody's forcing me to do anything, Lexy. You know I'm not about that life anymore. And yeah, I... I do." It was difficult to admit it even now. "I can't... run away from that anymore. Those feelings."
He hummed at those words, raising a brow as if asking Dacy if he was serious or not, before a soft smile tugged at his lips. Shaking his head with a chuckle, he gave his best friend’s shoulders a squeeze.
“Well, this is the part I tell you congratulations, then? Congrats, Dace. For finding someone and for snapping out of it, too. I’m happy for you.” “Should the guy ever do you wrong, though, I want to be the first to know. I’m gonna make sure there won’t even be ashes left of him if that happens. Got it?”
"That's definitely why." The fingers through his hair were soothing, thankfully, & Dacy relaxed a little more. He averted his gaze again, deeming it easier. "Well, uh... I told you about Emmett, yeah? So... some things happened. Important things. To make a long story short -- I had a little breakdown, went to him for comfort, he told me he loves me, I panicked and distanced myself, but couldn't keep it that way, and now we're dating." He took a deep breath, then sighed.
The name of that person awoke worries in Alexis’s mind, but he did not speak of it. He simply listened, brows furrowing as that short story went on, before he simply stared at his friend with an expression of surprise and shock. He should have been happy, but a part of him was still slightly disappointed - had Dacy only been apologizing because he did not have the choice, at this point, seeing as he himself was dating someone? Alexis pushed those thoughts aside. Being the worrywart that he was, the red clansman furrowed his brows, studying the shorter’s visage. “Do you love him? Do you want to be dating him, or do you feel forced? Because I can help you take care of that if that’s the case.”
"I don't think I could ever cut my bond with anyone unless someone forces me to," Dacy admitted, voice lowered a little as if he didn't want anyone but Alexis to hear him. "And you really are a clingy fucker. Almost as clingy as I am." The poet sighed, allowing for his shoulders to slump a little. That was one half of the conversation done. Now came something even more difficult. "There's, uh... something else, though. Which is probably gonna shock you."
He smiled softly, a hand idly running through his best friend’s locks as if to comfort him. At Dacy’s comment, he chuckled. “Maybe that’s why we get along so splendidly.” Watching the other act, it was easy for Alexis to guess that there was something else Dacy wanted to talk about. He remained silent, before tilting his head, his expression displaying mild curiosity and concern at once. “What is it?”
