Just a TLDR: No, Yours Truly isn’t going to be discontinued. No, I'm not removing the game from Itchio. Yes, it’s taking a long time, but I’m also taking my time with it. I'm working alone right now.

There’s been a lot of things going on behind the scenes. For one, I’m not in school anymore, I’m officially working. It’s takes time out of my day to work on scripting and outside of work, it’s spent relaxing or doing other life things. Admittedly, I don't have good time management.
Secondly, I’m working alone now. The two coders have left the project due to personal reasons, that's all really. It’ll be a moment before I may find someone to help with the coding since I myself am not a coder and I also struggle as a writer. I’m really just an artist ngl. That being said, any chapter related updates will not be coming out. For that, I’m very sorry.
Lastly, I know I’m not a big creator and frankly I like that, but I also know there are people who peek in to see how things are going and I feel guilty I haven’t been able to deliver anything. Especially to the ones who have financially supported the game. I am grateful for that continued support even until now. For this reason, I'm closing Kofi memberships. It's still an accessible site but it will no longer have studio memberships, it'll just be a dono site really.

The game will remain being scripts until I’m able to find someone to code the game. It would be nice to have one as early as now so that game updates get pushed out, however two problems that hold me back are losing coders during development and also not having the financial capabilities to really afford one. So maybe I’ll hold off on finding one for the time being.
Until then, I’ll be giving script updates and art updates as well. I’ve gotten the flow of my work schedule much better now that I’ve been working for almost a year now so I’d like to think I’ll have a steadier management between the game and my personal life as well.
In terms of development, Chapter 5 has been fully scripted & what remains is the CG art for it. Chapter 6 has a drafted outline but it is yet to be full scripted. I’m hoping to make more progress soon.
Additionally, I'm inclined to make sprite (and maybe CG) changes in the game! I'm not a good bg artist so maybe one day I'll change the bgs or have someone do it for me haha.

No. While I won't be updating the game with game updates in itchio, I won't be taking the game down. It just means that updates and whatnot will just be in tumblr.

Unfortunately there is only one romanceable character in this game and it's the ghost haha. In-game, Rosé is canonically dating someone though. However, you're free to make HCs in being in a relationship with any of the other characters, I don't mind at all!
Ansel is perfectly fine being just friends if that's how you see him.
2nd year of development and we’ve reached nearly halfway through the chapters. Slower than we wish but to have accomplished but it’s still something to be proud of in a passion project. Thank you to all who follow the development of this game of ours! 💜💛
I am a terrible aroes and I just hate being touched (especially my neck, it is very sensitive). How would the characters react to such an MC? Would they turn away from them, stay with them, trying to support them at a "distance", or something else? ಥ╭╮ಥ
I sometimes feel really ashamed that I don't give someone a chance, and because I hurt my loved ones who might like me, so I would really like to know their reactions! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Ansel: It isn't a problem for him but he's also prone to making mistakes. He isn't a handsy guy but he likes small gestures of affections as holding hands or even holding fingers, leaning against you and such. But he's also the type to wait for you to initiate touch. He'll hold out his hand and wait if you'd want to take it or not, open his arms if you want a hug or not. If you don't want it, he'll respectfully put his arm(s) back down.
Rosé: She will definitely struggle in that department. You may have to be a bit patient with this one cause her main love language is physical touch and that's for both giving AND receiving for both friends and relationships. Over time, she'll remember that touch isn't in the cards but will probably do an air hug here and there or tug on your clothes.
Colin: He drapes his arm over almost anyone he's casual with. It's like a thing he does on autopilot if he's beside someone and talking to them. You will see him halt midway doing so before setting his arm back down. Eventually he'll get the hang of it and stick to just talking more or ghosting his hand over you, away from any sensitive area.
Dime: This is easy for him. It's not that he hates being touched, it's more of people are afraid to touch him anyways. He's not a touchy guy either so he's not bothered at all by the fact you don't like being touched. He already just pops up beside you or speak suddenly anytime so he'd just be his normal self.

Mace has a hibiscus on their left bicep.
Saffron has a daisy on the left side of her neck.
Sage has a rose on the right side of his neck with thorns that stretch around his neck.

Well, the pretty obvious answer is that she’d say she has a girlfriend and she’s monogamous so she wouldn’t do anything about your crush on her. She might be a little awkward for a short time before teasing you about the crush you had on her, once you’ve moved on.
Single Rosé:
She would 100% think you’re just messing with her until you really drill it in that you’re serious. There would be a lot of “are you serious??” In varying tones of disbelief, shock, and being flustered. Frankly she wouldn’t know what to do about that crush you have on her since it’s super cute but her brain has now stopped functioning.
Colin:
He’d be pretty calm about it. Surprised initially but he’d relax and kind of tease you a little bit just to be sure you were actually serious about what you just said. Depending on how obvious you were on your crush on him beforehand, he’d bring that up and tease you a little more about it.
