TW: white supremacist violence
Kyle Rittenhouse is a 17 year old from Illinois. He illegally took a gun across state lines to Kenosha, fatally shooting two men and injuring another. The men he shot were protesting the shooting of Jacob Blake. He had travelled to Kenosha to “protect local businesses.” According to eyewitnesses, Joseph Rosenbaum, one of the victims, threw a plastic bag at Rittenhouse but didn’t hit him. Rittenhouse responded by shooting and killing Rosenbaum. Another victim, Anthony Huber, held a skateboard and attempted to disarm Rittenhouse. He, too, was fatally shot. The last victim was Gaige Grosskreutz, who was shot and injured.
Kyle Rittenhouse murdered two men and injured another. However, white supremacists defend him, claiming he acted in self defense, or that he was defending property. Even worse, some claim he’s an American hero. He is a murderer.
