Babadook comic idea Okay with this whole gay Babadook thing on the Internet I started thinking who to ship with him. Another demon or monster? I glanced at my current paranormal ships, Tomco, Billdip, Sockathan and lately Borendy. Most of the ships that involved a demon also involved a human. So I thought back to the movie itself and came up with a ship. The main character's son Sam but of course as an adult. So I thought up a story that involves The Babadook coming back into his life. Sam is a few years of finishing Highschool when his mother passes away. He has to live his bitchy aunt and cousin. As one could imagine his cousin grows up to be a mean girl, she can't stand being related to Sam, let alone living under the same roof as her socially awkward cousin. When they are at school together she bullies and taunts Sam. Sam is still figuring out his sexuality and comes to terms that he is gay. Unfortunately, his cousin finds out and outs him by publicly humiliating him . Sam goes into a deep depression and attempts suicide and is stopped by The Babadook, who comforts the young man with words of wisdom and experience. The Babadook becomes a guardian of sorts Sam, protecting him from harm throughout his highschool years, watches him graduate Highschool and becoming a handsome man. The Babadook develops an attraction to the now grown Sam. Sam gets accepted into an art college for his artistic skills. He chooses to pursue a career in the arts like his mother. With Sam's life now coming together, The Babadook begins to question his role and purpose in the young man's life. After disappearing for several days, he returns to a worried Sam who was concerned to where the demon had gone. Sam tells him that he couldn't picture his life without him in it . The babadook realizes he is okay being in the man's life even it never molds into a romantic relationship.

Can you explain to me the just friends episode thing? Who was supposed to kiss? I'm sorry I'm so lost 😢

“Just Friends” was the first episode in cartoon history to feature mouth to mouth kisses between gay and lesbian couples.

there are at least 5 presented within the audience for the show.

And despite this lasting literally 15 seconds and not being very noticeable unless you were paying close attention…..people (As in, homophobic parents ) got angry about it.

It’s literally the most on the nose any disney cartoon has been with LGBT content and was immensely praised as it made cartoon history and put Disney on the map for possible future LGBT content within their shows.

However, as of recently, this episode has vanished off two of the most promenant sources of Disney in which to find them: Their TV Channel, and Their Official Site.

And the fandom believes this might be due to Disney finally cracking under pressure, and withdrawing this episode due to angry parents complaining about the kiss scene.

These episodes take months to make, Disney let this happen a long time ago, they knew controversy would happen, and suddenly months after it premiered and spread like wild-fire that disney made history, they seem like they might be either withdrawing this episode entirely…or pulling it out to censor it cause ppl are dicks.
