My library puts up decorations to encourage summer reading, and this year it’s a paper tree with birds and bugs. I thought it needed Opossum representation and everyone agreed she needed a baby. I’m pretty happy with how he turned out!

Spicy, so named because when I took her in at 2 weeks as a colony reject she did her best to spit at me. Never meant to keep her, now here forever of course. My shadow, the perpetual baby, yawns in my face
