I'm so happy and excited! I have been waiting since last year when they announced these in honor of Christopher Tolkien's passing.

Did I already kind that I had them? Absolutely not. These books are so beautiful. I can't even begin to explain how I felt when I saw the title covers when I first got them out of the box there in.

Even the art on the box is so beautiful.

I'm currently on a reading Tolkien books binge and can't wait to get to these.

I tried reading The Silmarillion before, but the first one I bought the ink for the words in some chapters had gotten smudged and I couldn't read it. So I can't wait to try reading it again with the new book.
