She left him for a young Pirate ( hook).That was the second time he had his heart broken. Then he did what his father did and he lost his son.That was the third time and it wouldn't be the last. But in the end he does find true love . The beauty to his beast . Bell. Even though he had been hurt he let go of the pain and let love in. This is one of the many lessons that Once Upon A Time teaches us.That you can never give up on love .

The sad part is that I knew maleficent was going to put a twist on the classic tale, but initially I thought it was going to be Dioval to kiss aurora awake.
