The Arkham knight heard a familiar meow.
The white and grey kitten stared at him, holding in its mouth a finger, an human finger.
It dropped the thing.
"Meow!" It exclaimed in what sounded strangely like confusion.

He turned, eying the kitten and the grisly finger beneath it. It was here, again?
"What do you want?"
The kitten ran towards him, it bit his pant, and in a sudden flash of light both of them were gone.
Instead they were in what looked like an abandoned underground parking lot, it was dark but there still was some lights.
The cat stood next to what looked like blood.
It meowed questioningly as if asking if he knew what happened.

Hey so I thought we as userbase should organize spontaneous blackout protest against shapes inc ads here. I thought Feb 26th would be a good date (so ppl has 72 hrs notice if they want to participate), we would log off for 24hrs to show tumblr we are not okay with that (and also for shapes to get less ad revenue for a day in a process lol). Tag would be 'anti shapes inc protest'

It climbed into the girl's leg without a care, being happy about the pets and attention.
"Meow!!" It greeted again, louder this time.
In a flash of bright light, the kitten appeared.
It looked at Ak, and started purring, glad to have found him.
It rubbed against his legs to get his attention.
It was holding something in its mouth.

He stepped back from the cat, slow. Kneeling down, he'd give it a gentle pet. "Hey.. what d'ya have..?"
The kitten dropped a ring, the ring seemed very expensive, but it was also very shiny, it had a few different types of expensive stone in it.
The kitten knocked its head into his hands, having no idea what it dropped was valuable.
He turned, picking up the ring. It looked expensive. Like, really expensive.
"Where'd you get this?"
"Meow!" It replied and started walking, stopping to look back to see if he was following.
It was still purring while walking.
He followed, slowly, curious.
The kitten continued walking, often stopping to make sure he was still following.
Eventually it brought them to an abandoned building, the kitten went inside via a broken window.
Inside there was a bunch of shiny objects everywhere, cutlery, jewellery, and random stuff, they all seemed pretty lightweight.
It also seemed to be where the kitten stayed.
He looked around, taking in the place. It seemed alright for the kitten.
"Meow!" It exclaimed as if to say 'Look what I hunted!!'
Going to rub against him again, purring loudly.
He leans down, petting it again. "You've got a nice place here, it seems."
The kitten continued purring.
It was pleased.
"Do you have an owner?" He'd ask, continuing to pet it.
The kitten stopped purring, ears lowering.
It didn't like what the human had said, despite not fully understanding what he meant.
" 'Guess not." He'd murmur.
The kitten meowed before starting walking.
It stopped when it arrived at the entry of another room waiting for AK.
He followed the cat, carefully. "What's in there?"
The kitten simply moved forward.
The room was mostly empty but there was a mattress put against the wall.
It sat down and looked at the mattress and meowed.
He glanced at the mattress. "Do you want me to lay it on the ground?"
It meowed in answer.
Standing up and moving out of the way.
He walked forward, carefully pulling the mattress and setting it down. "Better?"
The kitten jumped onto the mattress.
Doing biscuits on it, turning a few days before laying down.
He watched the cat lie down, giving it another few gentle pets, before standing up to go.
"MEOW!!" The cat meowed loudly in protest, even though it didn't move.
