A virtual walk through the stone monument at Sachsenhain. A Project proposed by Alfred Rosenberg, commissioned by the Ahnenerbe and constructed by the Reichsarbeitsdiens to the everlasting memory of the 4,500 Heathens murdered by Charlemagne at the Massacre of Verden.
On June 21, 1935 a large summer solstice ceremony took place attended by Rosenberg, Himmler and Darre.
