I picked up this “hobby” of fucking up hats for fun when I can’t sleep or focus on whatever I’m working on over the past year or so

although my collection isn’t huge by no means I have accumulated enough of them that I figured it might be fun to share

1. Triceratops nike hat

this is the first cap desecration that occurred around a year ago, the one that started it all

materials used: screw on spikes

2. Weird cyber sigilism-esque adidas hat

this is my evil ex’s hat that I liked but needed to change it somehow so I can stop associating it w him

materials used: black acrylic paint, black contour paint for staining glass

3. Brain blowout

I kinda just hated this hat because it had a really ugly embroidered graphic on the front and it’s poor fitting, it looks cool now but still fits like hot ass so i don’t wear it that often

materials used: scrap material, red and brown acrylic paint mixed with isopropyl alcohol and red ink (for brain matter/ blood effect), a lighter, an awl

4. Centipede hat >:3

I bought a blank hat specifically for this project, love how it turned out. It’s probably my favorite hat I’ve modded so far

materials used: white and pearlescent acrylic paint

5. Spike spine nike hat

My sister started borrowing my hats super often so I offered to just mod one of hers. I didn’t want to copy the exact same thing I did on mine so I came up with this n she’s happy with it

materials used: screw on spikes

6. Skull hat

I think this is my mom’s old hat n I dug it out of a wardrobe. I thought it was super cute so I made it my own >:3

materials used: scrap material, embroidery thread, screw on spikes, mini safety pin
