hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii its me again, i know, i'm always here aren't I?? crazy world we live in..
this is an effort to make some sort of consolidation on this account (despite having a small casting net for fanfics I've managed to post for 3 separate fandoms so far that have 0 correlation between them LMAO)
anyways this should be a relatively short post but I wanted to throw It out there in case anyone was thinking about it.

to explain:
characters that died minors (Naranica, Kakyoin, etc.) I do not feel comfortable writing smut for, seeing as I am a legal adult. romantic or platonic is fine but no sexual content will be written for these characters.
now if a character is a minor when we see them but live to be an adult in a different season I'm fine with writing smut about them

The second he releases that last arrow he's crowding you,
eyebrows drawn into a concerned, bordering scared look
He sits you up to look at the wound, springing into fixing you up to the best of his abilities
Grits his teeth like heโs the injured one when he pulls the arrow out
Hates, hates, hates hearing your pained groans and cries as he puts pressure on the wound
Instantly abandons any plans you had for the day, he's dragging your ass back home
When you do get home heโs handing you healing potions and ushering you to the bed so he can wrap your shoulder up
I can see this spinning into an argument between you two (to add to the angst lol)
He spirals about it real bad
The mix of fearing of your life, worrying over what might have happened if you had gotten injured worse makes him very irrational
he's so afraid of you dying that he tries to keep you locked up in the house
Which of course you protest to
He cant comprehend why your so mad about the idea
Steves kinda emotionally constipated lol-
He's been without human connection for so long that he forgot how relationships work, that it's not just one person who makes all the decisions
He forgets how to acquiesce to other people and is very stubborn
In his mind it makes perfect sense-
You got hurt, you could've been hurt worse, you could've died, you should stay home.
If you bring up the fact that heโs been hurt worse than you he goes quiet and mutters a quiet, scratchy โthats differentโ
He feels bad about the whole situation, he can barely sleep without seeing your face scrunched up in pain, without hearing your cries and yells
He spends a long time beating himself up over it
Heโs your protector, the person who's supposed to keep you safe and he failed
You got hurt, like- really hurt
Eventually you have to sit him down and give him a whole speech about how he didn't โfailโ you
How accidents happen, how you live and you learn, how you still trust him
He find the ultimate comfort in that, knowing that you trust him even if he doesn't trust himselfย
He does let you back out lol, even he can admit its more trouble than its worth trying to keep you down
Does 100% get way more aware and vigilant though, he doesn't want you getting hurt again under his watch

fears that monotony and nights spent apart because of work will cause a sort of resentment between the two of you

Bruno is very afraid of being abandoned, he watched his mom fall out of love with his dad and it really drives him to try his hardest to spend as much time with you as he can manage
he likes the cutesy, romantic, stereotypical kind of dates, he wants the two of you to dress up nice and go out for the day!!!
omg a beach date would be perfect, maybe even a boat ride date...
i feel like Bruno would consider running errands together a date lowkey
like going grocery shopping at a market just appeases his domestic urges idkidkidk
bruno likes to take care of the people he loves
(he literally holds a majority of the meetings for the gang in a restaurant lol)
so he's definitely taking you to all sorts of places to eat that he's wanted to try
It's a double win, he's caring for you while also getting to talk and be close!
speaking of talking, conversation is his main concern
Bruno wants to talk to you- like sit and really listen about everything that went on with you during the week
it could be stupid nonsense and he'd still nod his head at you like your giving an important speech lol
dinners are always candle lit and always have a nice bottle of wine involved!

unsurprisingly not a big date night guy lol
he doesn't need to go out to enjoy his time with you so why should he?
hes also kinda a hermit, mans does not get out much
if hes gonna bother going out for a date he wants to do something he typically doesn't get the opportunity to do on a regular basis
so the date nights he does take you on are always very thought through and based on your individual enjoyments
a live orchestra concert would be very enjoyable for him
ballet, musicals, and plays are acceptable as well
the ultimate date for him would probably be a nice dinner and then going to see a show of some kind
then going tf home and having some wine
if you want something more relaxed like an arcade date or even just a dinner he does fold and do it lmao
all it takes are the puppy dog eyes and he's groaning and grabbing his coat
even if its not something he finds particularly enjoyable he desperately wants to make you happy
he feels like he needs to repay you for being with him despite all his problems
clubs are a no though-

Abbachio may put up a good front but after the dates all said and done he finds that he really enjoyed himself

now remember, before he became a don Giornio was just some broke ass kid
so his dates aren't particularly expensive but they're still fun and romantic in a young love kinda way

fugo is, like Abbachio, not good with romanticism
he really tries!!! but, he's always second guessing himself and worrying if you'll like what he plans
likes to and really really tries planning dates that will interest you
gets prideful when he plans a date you really like
puffs his chest a bit at it bc yeahhh that's HIS girlfriend he made happy!!!!
but if it were up to him he'd spend every date in the house lol
he hates just about every aspect of dates in public
cant express physical affection (he hates pda)

and God forbid you're at the beach or park- the second it gets 1 degree too hot he's getting pissed and instantly wants to go home

Mista is taking you to get absolutely sloshed and then eat greasy food and pass out at 5am
lets be fr, mista was def part of the 2000s rave scene, so you are obviously obligated to come along!
and yes the process of getting ready is part of the date too!
I'd say Mista is very laissez faire about dates, if you want something specific you have to ask
to his credit he does do whatever it is you suggest!
when on a date Mista wants to have FUN
he wants to laugh and joke around and just enjoy being with you
he LOVESSS mini golf, even though he's trash at it

Narancia considers anything the two of you do together as a date
you could be beating a guy up for information and hes like
"man I enjoyed that, wanna do it again sometime?"
Narancia LOVES beach dates, especially if the dates ends with getting a sweet treat
fast food dates are also common
you get a table in the back corner and proceed to be way too loud for a public establishment
like Mista you've been kicked out lots of times for 'disturbing other patrons'
restaurants with outside patios are the best bet if you actually wanna finish your meal lol
Narancia definitely has a list of places he knows wont id you guys for alcohol
so if you want some wine with dinner Narancia's got your back
you two inevitably get a tad bit tipsy and stumble back home absolutely loosing it over the stupidest things
he falls over a few times from laughing to hard
dates can take up the whole day with Narancia
he starts early as hell too, the second his eyes are open he's on go mode
he'll drag you all around the city, from clothes shopping to invading a playground to laying down and pointing out shapes in the clouds
Narancia just desperately wants to have fun with you
totally cool with at home dates too
the two of you will put on a CD and read through the lyrics from the CD pamphlet or if they don't have one you try to write them all down
also movie dates
these are exclusively at home beacause Narancia talks through the WHOLE movie and you wont subject the people of the public to that
very spontaneous with his dates, he generally just asks you out whenever you and him have free time
so that could be early morning, afternoons, or late at night if a mission took particularly long that day

After a long day of work, dealing with mafia members, towns people, or even his own teamย
he just wants to unwind and relax before he has to wake back up and do it all over again
It's also some of the only times he gets with just him and you.ย
No other people walking by, no one interrupting, no task taking his focus, no one asking for his help-
Just his lover and his bed
He doesn't mind any cuddling pose! as long as he gets to hold you he's happy
Heโll talk about his day, in his steady tone that he always has, a bit deeper with sleep and slower from the exhaustion
It lulls you into a tired state right along with him
If you fight to stay awake and listen to him heโll laugh a bit before brushing his hand over your forehead; soothing you and trying to get you to close your eyes.

But sometimes he's just too tired (especially if he was on a mission that day) and heโll let you talk him to sleep
likes to sleep in the dark and in complete silence

He doesn't toss or turn and if you shift in his arms he instinctively loosens his hold till your still again before pulling you back,ย
Doesn't snore, doesn't have nightmares, he falls asleep and is usually in the same position till he wakes back up

He trials after you like a lost puppy, wondering what your doing and where your going
Need some water? Heโs leaned on the counter in the kitchen, arms crossed and groggily watching you before ushering you quickly back to bed
He's got a nice bed tooโฆsoft, clean sheets that smell like fresh laundry
Big stickler for making the bed every morning, he hates his sheets slipping off the corners and getting all wrinkled and ruffled under him while he sleeps
Can and will make the bed with you in it if you don't wake up fast enough
Abbacchio
Sleep? This man does not know how to sleep.
He's got horrible insomnia accompanied by horrific night terrors so he gets very limited sleep
If he does its because hes drank himself into a black-out and even then its cold, dreamless, and wholly unsatisfying
If he does manage to drift off he wakes up screaming and sweating
Heโs is too shaken to try to go back to bed
It's basically a gamble every time night comes around
But sometimes very, very, rarely he sleeps through the night without a single nightmare
Most nights heโll catch 3-4 hours of sleep, they're restless and he typically wakes up every hour or so but hey, it keeps him from collapsing on a mission so good enough for him lol
he moves a lot in his sleep, not flailing his arms or legs but he tosses and turns quite a bit
sometimes he'll talk in his sleep, repeating phrases or conversations he said earlier that day (remind you of anyone?)
he'll ask you questions in accordance to whatever dream he's having
these are the times you can negate his nightmares, leading him away from them and to a more relaxed state of mind
telling him your 'right next to him' or that your 'not going anywhere' literally makes his shoulders deflate and his face relax
sometimes he'll wake up and slightly remember the conversations but he mostly thinks they are his dreams
(may or may not have admitted multiple times how much he loves you in his "dreams")
When with you heโll put on a record (something smooth and quite, jazz perhaps) and lay next to you, even if he can't sleep it doesn't mean he wants you to stay awake with him
Now cuddling is a bit odd, at first he just lays next to you. Too awkward to reach out and touch you
But as time goes on heโll slowly work up to it. Holding your hand or pressing his shoulder to yours
He likes you resting your head on his chest, its enough contact to satiate him but not so much that he gets touched out
He holds your hand and presses it to his heart :_)
When you do fall asleep heโll get up and just sorta go about his day (night?)
Heโll clean, drink, watch tv- just sorta bide his time till he feels drowsy enough to doze off for a bit before sunrise
If you wake up and join him heโll try and get you back to bedi
โWe don't need two sleep deprived members on the team tomorrow, go back to sleep..."
But deep down he's happy that you bothered to check on him at all
Even if you end up falling back asleep watching some stupid show on the couch with him

pre-don giorno tries to get his recommended 8 hours a night
Heโs got a good sense of knowing when to take breaks to prevent burnout and this sense extends to you as well
if he sees you working too late for his tastes he will force you to go to bed
I'm talking hands on shoulders, directing you to the bed like your a child playing video games too late on a school night lmao
Now post-don giorno has far more tasks to attend to, but he still tries to finish up as quickly as he responsibly can
Much to your mutual chagrin you probably still go to bed before he does most nights
he doesn't like you staying up waiting for him either
if you do he just sighs and gives you a slightly disapproving smile, but none the less carries out his nightly routine with you in tow
He likes cuddling! he does the classic little spoon/big spoon
He probably has the nicest bed ever, like goose feather down blanket, egyptian silk sheet type shit
He always has the room ever so slightly lit-up
As a little boy he was terrified of the dark after being left there alone so many nights
And heโd be hard pressed to admit it but heโs still very scared of the dark
Every time he wakes up to the starkness of night all those emotions come running back to him
Fear, sadness, confusion-
He always swore to himself heโd never have to feel like that again so heโs got little lamps or nightlights around the room to keep it aglow
He moves a bit in his sleep
But its all natural movement, you're still within each other's arms when you wake back up in the morning
he also sometimes has nightmares, they're not as bad as abbacchio's
they're all the same though
visions of Bruno, abbacchio, or narancias death, sometimes he dreams that your dead
sometimes there of his stepdad, remnants of his childhood, hurtful words said to him
he doesn't wake up screaming but does sometimes wake up to a few tears in his lash line
looking at you, peaceful and safe brings him back down to reality and helps him calm down enough to go back to bed
sometimes it's not-
those nights he'll sit and spiral about all the things he did wrong
but if you find him and sit with him he feels a little lighter, after some time he'll take your hand and walk the two of you back to bed
Fugo
Another insomniac
He leans more โunable to turn his brain offโ than โnightmares of his past mistakesโ but he does occasionally peep the horror!
He's very perceptive and sometimes without realizing it is observing things in his head
Whether it's a mission he was or is going on, a book he's reading, something he has to do for the team, chores, etc.
He's always got a million things going on and often he finds himself staring at the ceiling till morning comes just thinking
It's a gift and a curse
Itโs one of the reasons he's so intelligent, he wouldn't be so smart if he didn't have a hunger for knowledge
But it also causes him to lose time, most nights he doesn't even realize he's dreamed the night away while still being awake
But having someone there to shake him into reality and tell him to โgo the hell to bedโ helps lots
I feel like he likes to be read to, it gives him something to focus on instead of his own head
Or watch tv/listen to radio
Heโd LOVE podcasts/audiobooks
Heโs a bit nervous about cuddling or even sleeping in the same room as you
What if while heโs unconscious purple haze comes out and something happens and he loses you-
He needs a bit of time to work up to it, but once he gets comfortable to the idea omg he's on ur ass bruh
Like breathing down your neck levels of clingy
He doesn't intend for it to happen but when he does fall asleep he turns a bit and bam he grabbing you up and pulling you in-

Every time he wakes up clinging to you he's so embarrassed and your just like

It doesn't happen too often but there are nights where In his dreams he relives some of the most horrible moments of his life
It's mostly his teacher or his parents, but sometimes the gang turns on him
And you do to, saying every little thing he hates about himself is true and that he's disgusting, that you hate him, that your leaving-
He wakes up terrified, heart racing
But then he looks over and sees you, still with him, still breathing, still in love with him
And he feels a bit better

DO NOT!
eat in this man's bed. He will remove cuddle privilege for an extended period of time if it happens
he loves you so dearly but he will strangle you if you get crumbs in his bed
i feel like he has this need to shower before he gets in bed so
that rule applies to you too
he thinks it's so yuck to get into the bed and lay in a day's worth of sweat and dirt
another morning bed maker, but he will not make you into the bed
he'll just force you to get up

Listen, this man LOVES to sleep
It's one of his favorite pastimes! Next to like- eating and fucking lmao
He doesn't care where he is either; Bed, couch, chair, restaurant, on the ground outside-
If Mista feels tired hes going to BED
One thing he does hate is sleeping when its hot
He's one of those people that always has the fan blowing in his room, and don't try to turn it off either, he'll know
Even if you think heโs asleep, the second you turn it off he's sitting up and telling you to turn it back on.
He needs his white noise guys
Fully one of those people who wont go to other peoples events because he wants to take a nap at that time

I feel like mista is one of the only members who doesn't get nightmares
Just really weird dreams that he swears are prophetic, lots of talking animals and shapeshifting people asking him to do things for odd rewards
Wakes up so confused and kinda panicked

Narancia usually never has a hard time going to bed
He was raised on the streets and used to sleep in shitty homemade beds that were never comfortable
now that heโs got a real bed that's warm and soft and smells like you?
Yeah hes layin in that shit
He's got lots of energy but he only has it because he sleeps so deeply at night, like 5 mins in and that mf is in his REM cycle
He's hard to wake up, you gotta really shake the mf and even then its a 50/50 chance if hes actually awake
Bc he will half consciously say whatever he thinks the person wants to hear if it means he can go back to sleep
This ends up getting him into lots of agreements and missions he doesn't remember later on- It's a rule to not ask him for anything if he's half asleep lol
Very occasionally has nightmares,
Mostly about his eye getting infected again and him dying Or you dying or betraying him like his old friends did, sometimes its his mom-
Just sad stuff, things that make him wake up and feel depressed
It's easy to tell when he's had a bad dream because it's like his whole light is dimmed
Hug him and tell him youโll always be there and heโll perk back up, hugging you back and promising not to leave you either.
naranica uses klarna but doesn't complete his payments then when his account goes into the negatives he breaks his phone and throws it away bc he thinks it gets rid of the debt

If you initiate the dance he will laugh but comply

starting off, he's definitely darker skinned, he's brown in his canonical 3d model and let's be honest, he's sitting out in the sun for hours at a time for a countless number of years so he's not gonna be pale...
he's got curly brown hair, hints of red and gold when the sun filters through it. he keeps it rather short, sort of just cutting it aimlessly when he decides its too long.
always has a 5 o'clock shadow, he could shave himself clean and 2 seconds later he's already growing hair again, he lets it grow till it's almost a full beard and then he shears it.
that's right, he shears it, he doesn't gaf he gets his sheep shears and just goes ham.
in the winter time he lets it grow fully so he can keep his face warmer
he's pretty decently tall, lots of scars all over from different battles, and very muscular
he chops wood, kills monsters, wrangles with wild animals, builds full buildings, farms, and walks long distances. come on that man is ripped ya'll....
he's a bit awkward, doesn't talk a whole lot
he isn't completely silent, if he can't convey something via facial expressions or hand gestures he'll give a rudimentary explanation. but he's very clipped, kept to short sentences or even just singular words if he can.

it's not really 'accidental' but he just thinks its the easiest option

but during the day you can come with him, if you want he'll walk while you ride the horse by yourself. he'll even hold the reins and lead if you ask
his 'love language' is acts of service, he's always doing what you want
he knows he's strong and capable with a litany of talents under his belt, anything you want done he can do
you want an extra room in the house? he's already gathering wood to build it
you want a small pond in the yard? he's digging
you want a specific flower? he's spending all day looking for them to give to you
you want carpet in your room? he's shearing sheep, buying wool, he'll even dye it whatever color you want.
he also does a bit of gift giving
when he's out without you he'll always find something to bring back
whether its flowers, disks, books, food, supplies, just a pretty rock...
when he comes back he just pulls the stuff out and hands it over. like it's an average part of his routine.
doesn't make a big deal out of it, but if you praise him for it?? tell him how sweet and thoughtful and caring he is????
well he won't really do much but his ears turn a bright red and he refuses to make any form of eye contact.
hes weirdly clingy
he's been without anyone for ages, without touch.
so something as simple as a hand on his shoulder makes him happy
hugs are a tad stiff, but he's learning ok?!
kisses are even harder
but it's like exposure therapy, you just gotta kiss him randomly through the day and he'll start getting used to it.
he's incredibly protective over you, he know how easy it is to die out there
all it takes is being too far from home, too late at night
and you could never come back.
it's why he won't let you out at night.
