Sorry!
Haven't posted in a long time due to busy rehearsal schedule. Videos are coming up soon, as soon as I get my camera in the mail. The only rejection that happened so far was at my tutors. I asked her if we could do the Harlem shake, and she said "I don't know what it is, therefore no."
Day 4
My school lunch sells cookies, so I ask the cashier, this really old guy, if I could get a cookie, gluten free, hold the flour. His response: so you want chocolate chips with a baggie of flour, we can't do that. I'm just kidding he doesn't know what gluten is. Also most of these posts are complete and utter lies.

Day 3
Rejection #3
Today I asked my parents one of those obvious no-no's. "Hey Dad, can I get my ears pierced?" My dad answers in the most unthinkable way, "Are you trying to 'acquire swag' or are you intentionally trying to look like a girl?"
Thank you Mr. AZ, how do you make your songs so amazing!
Rejection Ideas?
Ok so I have rejection-idea block, anythings you want me to try out? Just post here.
Gotta love OneRepublic
Day 2
Rejection #2
2/23/12
First rejection of the day, asking my friend to workout at the gym. His response, "LOL no!" Funny thing is, ten minutes later as I'm doing working on my cardio, I see him walk in to the gym. I guess this thing is really working!
Day 1
Rejection #1
2/22/13
The first step to a result is admittance. This is where it all begins, where I unintentionally started my path (hopefully) to success. After the seventh performance of our drama production about school shooting, I asked my longtime crush out, in the most awkward way possible. The stuttering, the awkward timing, the getting-cockblocked-by-friends, the whole deal. Obviously I got rejected, I felt like crap afterwards, could it be that rejection could be really this bad? This is when I came up with my goal, never get rejected again. Boy, was I wrong, I realized there was no escape from it, only feeling a sort of numbness towards it and that is how I decided to take the Rejection Therapy 100 day challenge. So for 100 days, I'm going to be posting random requests and their outcomes, whether it be a rejection or a success. Some will come in the form of long paragraphs and some might come in the form of videos. This is going to be a long 100 days...
Intro
This is Avi, with the beginning of the Rejection Therapy game. I was inspired by Jia Jiang from TED talk to try out the Rejection Therapy, created by Jason Comely. The method is simple, just get rejected at least once a day. Chronologically, my first rejection will start one day before the creation of this blog. I wanted to do this for two main reasons; one is to perform a social experiment to deal with rejection, and two to see how many yeses I will get. No individuals will be singled out, although instances will be, obviously. Feel free to comment or ask any questions. Thank you!
