I’ve found that being in a low place emotionally can be the best thing for me artistically. I mean yeah these pictures are underexposed, but they’re expressive. So, even though I’m not completely happy with them, they are exactly what they needed to be. Also, it proves that I need a camera lol.

Foggy Illinois BEast to West Series 2015 by Nora Graseck We went off-road in Illinois after seeing signs for the World’s Largest Windchime and the World’s Largest Rocking Chair. We found the windchime, but for the life of us couldn’t find the chair..we traveled along tiny neighborhoods on gravel roads for an hour before giving up. For such vast, flat terrain, you could only see about a half mile in front of you. It was creepy!

Frozen Flowers in Ice Resemble Exquisite Watercolor Paintings by Kenji Shibata
Kenji Shibata is a famous Japanese photographer who creates powerful and captivating images, such as his latest photo series “Locked In Ether” which we have featured below. His visual experiments deal with freezing time and motion of an object which is representative of life - the flower. Under the literal context of using ice to paralyze the flourishing and wilting bouquets of bright flowers, the stunning images results in what closely resembles delicate watercolor still-lifes. The visuals are rich in poetic meaning and the technique is both unique and fascinating to behold for the eyes.
