in honor of new dream appreciation week, since new dream is and always will be my favourite couple, I drew them as the Sundrop and Moonstone! I know I'm not following the prompt days, but I was never gonna have time to make 7 drawings. So here's one for the whole week, based on day 1's prompt: sun and moon! @our-newdream

Just some side thing if Eugene ended up with a scar from Demon Cass (after he’s finally back from the moonstone stuff but still has a case of the Bigs ™ ).

He’s just pulling a Howl here, but tbh, I feel like he would be genuinely perturbed by his physical appearance being affected permanently esp in this case bc he already feels he’s disconnected from people with the giant stuff and having his good looks is all he has to put people at ease.

But wow, I can’t believe Eugene is finally dead for good this time.

This struck a chord with me this morning, and I love the artist, Lisa’s description:

Okay. So here’s my thought on something a little more serious. My thing is, after the 18 years of verbal abuse/terrorism that Mother Gothel put Rapunzel through, and after spending your life believing that someone was your MOTHER, come to find out she stole you away from your family, your ROYAL family, she wasn’t your mom, and she kept you to herself, locked away in a tower for her own selfish reasons, even though she always told you it was for YOUR protection. She never loved you and spent years telling you otherwise. And then she topples out of a tower after stabbing your boo. There are repercussions to that kind of treatment. And I can only imagine that’d be something Flynn would occasionally have to walk her through. But not in a “Rapunzel is a weak female” angle, because I think she’s one of the strongest princesses to come from Disney. An actual step to an independent female lead. Just a moment of weakness. Everyone has them, even if you claim to be impervious. It’s nice when you’ve some warmth at that time.
