Kent Cottage at Landfall by Margaret Ayad Via Flickr: Landfall is a heritage property (built around 1800) located in Brigus, Newfoundland, about 80 km west of St. John's. It is operated by a registered charity, The Landfall Trust, which is dedicated to conserving the property for the benefit of the arts in Newfoundland and Labrador. The cottage is of historical importance, not only because of the nature of the structure, but also because of some of its former occupants, most notably Rockwell Kent, world-renowned artist and writer. These photos were taken over two days in Conception Bay North in Bay Roberts, Habour Grace, Brigus, and North River - small towns about 20 minutes apart. Baccalieu Consulting baccalieu.wordpress.com
