Strong minds build strong communities. Prioritize your wellness today — it’s not selfish, it’s necessary. 🌞
Teamwork in action 💪 Veronica & Serge from our Mobile Response Team met with incredible LEOs across the Treasure Coast during CIT training — sharing how MRT can partner with local agencies to better serve those in crisis. 🌟
Building connections, sharing resources, and making a difference together! 🌟 Our team partnered with Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches to share how MRT can support individuals in our community. We’re grateful for the chance to collaborate with an organization dedicated to empowering people who are blind or visually impaired to live healthy, happy, and independent lives. 💛 Learn more about Lighthouse’s incredible programs at lhpb.org.

🌟 Building stronger futures together! 🌟 Last night, our Team Leader of School & Community Relations, Tamesha Francis, spoke at Treasure Coast High School’s Multicultural Parent Night about the Student Assistance Program (SAP) and the power of prevention. Through our partnership with the Migrant Education Program, we’re able to share valuable resources with parents and recently joined forces on Project Exhale this summer to bring evidence-based support directly to students. 💙📚 ✨ Remember: anyone can refer their child to SAP by emailing [email protected] . Together, we can make a difference!
✨ Honored to be recognized at Dan McCarty Middle School last night by St. Lucie Public Schools Migrant Education Program! ✨ New Horizons of the Treasure Coast & Okeechobee is proud to partner in supporting students, families, and communities with resources that foster resilience, growth, and brighter futures. 🌟 Together, we’re harvesting dreams & building careers. 💙
🌟 Meet Chris, one of our Prevention Specialists! 🌟 He recently visited Village Green Elementary to teach 2nd graders the Too Good for Violence curriculum. 🏫✨ This week’s focus? I-Messages — a simple tool that helps kids say: 👉 “I feel ____ when ____.” By practicing this skill, students learn to share their feelings clearly, take responsibility for their emotions, and handle conflicts with respect. 💬💙 We’re so proud of Chris for empowering kids with tools they can use every single day!
Meet Jada, one of our Prevention Specialists making a difference every day at White City Elementary. Jada brings her energy and expertise to the ROAR (Reaching Our Accessible Resources) after-school program, a United Way initiative we’re proud to partner with. Through Botvin LifeSkills and Too Good for Violence, Jada helps students build confidence, practice healthy coping skills, and learn how to make positive choices. Her work ensures kids not only stay safe after school, but also gain the tools they’ll carry into the future. We’re grateful for Jada’s dedication and the impact she’s creating for the students she serves.

Don’t bottle up your feelings—let them breathe. Talking it out is the first step toward healing. 💙
Recovery isn’t easy — but it’s worth every step. Each day you choose healing over hurt, courage over comfort, and growth over regret. You’re not alone in the struggle, and every effort matters. 💚 "Recovery is hard. Regret is harder." — Brittany Burgunder
🤝 Helping Families Help Each Other When a loved one is facing mental health or addiction challenges, no one should feel alone.
