I think more nwsl coaches should look to Laura Harvey as a lesson on how to endear yourself to your players. People WANT to play for her. That’s how her teams pull off these big signings. And it’s tough because that’s something you can’t teach, but it’s an underrated and often overlooked part of coaching.

I think we have said this a lot...christen need someone up there with her. Someone that can match her qualities and quick thinking. So far, the players are too slow to react to her or dont even think about the right solutions. The other teams have at least two world class players together and it shows... i love CP23 but the team right now is not helping her.

It is on the coach also. She tried the same combination again and again... maybe she should try something else?? Add new blood. Simone is a good player, but she struggles to finish.

And for god sake Lussi has 1 good game at the back, this does not make her the candidate to be on defense!!!

And McCaskill... she must be a coach charmer coz i dnt know y she is still in the starting 11...she is slow, bad passes...

A clear disconnect between midfield and the rest today. The last two wins made it look like it was covered, but clearly it's not.

Last week, midfield was top notch, with Cari winning so many balls. The wings were better also.

Today, it seems we went two steps back again. We are luck we didn't concede more.

And let's not talk about the suspicious calls or non-called actions from the ref...

We clearly need someone to feed Christen. She can't everyone else and herself guys. Hope the chemistry will come with time.

But we move on and hope that the first match away for this season will be successful 🤓😬👀

With the mentality of some of the newbie on the USWNT, i got a feeling that the spirit won't be the same... still wish them all the best and hope they stay on top👍. But something definitely changed at some point last year and I dont know, im.not feeling it as much ☹
