A few common feelings you may experience when open water swimming. 🔸Anxiety, nervousness, that feeling like you can't breathe. 🔸Fear, there's a lot of unknowns going on, you don't have walls, you might not be able to see what's under you, around you, and in a race, there are people who are VERY unpredictable. You might get kicked in the face, who knows. 🔸Water temperature, when it's really cold, breathing becomes even harder, your body will also try to preserve energy.
